The glue between software tools we use
Overall Satisfaction with Zapier
Zapier connects the many tools we use in our business quickly and easily ensuring that our data is easily accessible. Many tools offer native integrations with each other, but there are so many pieces of software that when there isn't a native integration, Zapier comes to the rescue to ensure we can share data back and forth.
Pros
- Massive amount of supported apps
- Reliable at getting data where it needs to be
- Easy for non-developer team mates to setup integrations with on their own
Cons
- Pricing is high depending on use case
- Related to the above, if an app does not have the best trigger or action setup, it might take 2-3 zaps to accomplish what should really be a single zap, and this would could be prohibitively expensive, costing even more per month than the software tools themselves you are connecting
- Zapier allows us to get two apps connected quickly without pulling in a developer
- We've thought of certain connections that we'd have liked to make, but due to the amount of data and zaps that would be required, we'd be looking at a $299/month bill just for that connection, which didn't make sense. This was partially due to the integration design of the apps themselves, but I feel that Zapier has room to lower prices a bit.
