Overall Satisfaction with ZipRecruiter

We use ZipRecruiter to help us get access to candidates.
  • Selling their services
  • Advertising
  • Convincing you to use their service
  • Their sign-up process is a con. They put in very small writing that they will charge you every day until you turn it off. This is something that should be very clearly stated.
  • Honestly, the whole thing is rather low value. Lots of "old" resume. Matching algo is all talk, it's just like monster and CareerBuilder before.... nothing new.
  • We won't be using ZipRecruiter.
I'd have to rate all of these higher, as they don't try to trick you into paying them.

I really don't think this company provides anything valuable in the way of service. If they did, they wouldn't have to trick you into paying. Small writing and a checkmark before you do your "free posting" is an incredibly deceptive way of trying to make money.
