Overall Satisfaction with ZipRecruiter

We use ZipRecruiter for its recruiting platform. We did not use it for long because of the cost to post a simple job. The tools are useful and I would recommend it to any business that does not mind paying for the services offered. If you are wanting just to post a job and let happen what will happen this is not the platform for you. ZipRecruiter will find applicants for you based on your job description.

Pros

  • Applicant matching is well done.
  • Recruiting based off of qualification is well done.
  • Posting a job is simple.

Cons

  • Trial period could be longer to allow more time for applicants to respond.
  • Free options could be added.
  • We did not use it long enough to know if a positive impact would come.
  • The limitations of the trial did not allow for much in the way of results.
There wasn't any actual impact to our business simply for the fact that we were not able to use it long enough for results. Had we had more time available I believe there would have been a positive impact. The ease of use alone made it possible for staff members with less experience in technology to add their input to the job posting.
The recruitment tools did not have an impact on my business. We did not use it long enough to see results from these tools. I believe it would have had a positive impact had more time been used.
LinkedIn and Indeed.com have free options which I think helps them considerably. We are able to see many more applicants on Indeed.com because of the option for a free job posting. LinkedIn doesn't offer much and we have not seen anything positive from its use.

ZipRecruiter is good for reaching out to potential applicants instead of waiting and hoping they see your job posting. I think they could get more traffic however by offering free options such as posting a job without seeking out applicants that are preferred. Overall it is a well done platform.
