Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Creator Platform

We use Zoho Creator to eliminate the paper trail and automate most of our processes including:

1. Inventory
2. Manufacturing
3. Quality control
4. Invoicing
5. Accounts
6. Reporting & Forecasting

Pros

  • Fast development
  • Cross-platform
  • Easy to learn language

Cons

  • Support is non existent
  • Reports take time to display updated information
  • User interface needs a major overhaul
  • Costs reduced by forecasted figure of 10% to 5%
  • Efficiency greatly improved by 50%
  • Productivity increased substantially due to tasks being automated
I think Zoho Creator Platform is a very different development platform compared to others. Most developers might not want to learn or develop here due to: 1. Non scalability 2. High costs 3. Limited UX design Reason others might want to develop on Creator: 1. Faster time to market 2. Easy Drag-Drop interface 3. Works for a variety of use cases

Zoho Creator Platform is better suited to small companies / personal use. As a medium size company, Creator has been a challenge to use, especially in my experience due to the extremely incompetent support team. Offline functionality is advertised but should not be as it requires that your application has no logic which completely nullifies the whole . Application logic will work at times and fail at others. Support team will insist that it had always been working when it is clearly evident that they are scrambling to fix the issue at the backend.
