We created a platform called Mitask management Application using the Zoho Creator and it help us to show a single-window for the fundraising program.it shows all of our mini Investors and Donors in a single dashboard, and we shared weekly reports with them.
  • We can build easy tools with low coding.
  • Any type of automations we can create.
  • Now there is no improvement needed all are satisfied.
If some kind of medium-scale it companies should the Zoho Creator because we can create so many tools for our daily office automation, so 25$ is very much affordable to all of the companies, so with a small investment we'll get 100% results with low coding knowledge, that is the main advantage of Zoho Creator.

We use Zoho Creator as a low code tool. Major use cases are if we have to quickly build a solution prototype and test it. Apart from that if there are any solutions that need to be built for an internal audience, we try using a low code approach. In both the use cases, it helps in reducing time to market and cost to build.
  • If any use-case requires a workflow, it does really well.
  • The ability to read data from different sources is good.
  • Options to parse data and fetch relevant details is also one thing I like.
  • Integrations with many SaaS applications can be improved.
  • Running loops can also be improved in workflow.
It's best for building internal tools which have workflow or data visualization requirements. It's not suited for complex customized applications, especially if customer-facing.

We publish books. About 200 per year. Each book has around 50 separate pieces of data associated with it. Publication date, warehouse due date, printers, print quantities, trim size, editorial team, etc. We use Zoho Creator as our "bible" for all books we own and publish. It is the one-stop source for all authoritative data regarding each title we publish. The entire company uses our custom-built Creator database to maintain ongoing updates of every title, of which we now have thousands.
  • Extremely customizable for any need
  • Excellent options for reports, both public and private
  • Powerful ability to link databases for deeper sets of data
  • Very very powerful programming language for custom applications
  • Zoho Creator's new version isn't as well documented as older versions. The changes were dramatic so it's hard to find help relevant to Version 5.
  • Zoho Creator is so powerful, it is sometimes TOO powerful. It can be intimidating if your needs are very basic.
  • The new version of Zoho Creator was meant to be more intuitive, but after using it compared to the previous version 4, we find it's often more difficult to accomplish the same tasks.
  • The search feature, while powerful, is also cumbersome. Ideally, it would be simplified if possible.
I have a software web app development background, so we considered hand-rolling an in-house MYSQL application for our needs. But, programming a home-grown web app also requires a dedicated programmer and some deep thought regarding specifications. Within just a couple of hours, I developed a tool in Zoho Creator (easily expandable) that accomplished the same tasks. It saved us a considerable amount of frontend and backend programming. Nothing can truly fit EVERY need, so some extremely specialized applications might find Zoho Creator limiting, but for the bulk of normal, everyday database management, Zoho Creator is an excellent tool. The fringe cases where Zoho Creator's off-the-shelf abilities may not be enough could be addressed in a number of creative ways, be it linking to outside data or using their custom programming language to hand-code specific needs. It is very, very powerful. The only place where it may not be appropriate is if someone needed extensive front-end customization (although data can still be pulled using its API for display externally). It may be too powerful for extremely basic needs. Overall, however, it is hard to find fault with this system.
I tend to believe that most of Zoho's support team speaks English as a second language. As such, communicating issues to them, knowing they comprehend the problem, and then getting solutions can be challenging. While their support team does tend to be very knowledgeable, the language barrier has more than once presented problems in the process. I understand it may not be a good financial decision to host an American-based support center, but it would certainly make for a better support experience.
Yes
We happily used Creator 4 for years and at the end of 2020 were forced to upgrade to their new Creator 5 platform.

The upgrade only took seconds, but the learning curve to use the new UI was more steep than anyone on our staff would have liked. The version 5 interface was so drastically different, almost everything had to be re-learned. Nothing was the same. The upgrade, frankly, was TOO drastic.

We needed to solve an internal problem by creating a new online software. One of the main requirement was to find something that we could create and give maintenance by ourselves, with no-code or low-code skills. Then with Zoho Creator we had the possibility to hire a company to develop the basis of our new software and then we could evaluate inside with our team.
  • Low-code skills needed to create complex process.
  • Easy to learn.
  • Best for simple form design software (that don't need 'beautiful' design).
  • A bit tricky for integrations with 3rd party software.
  • Layout customizations very limited.
  • A bit expensive when you need to give access to many users.
If you need to create a very simple CRM (or CRM-like) system, with tailor-made functions for your business, it is well suited. You can customize and create modules specific for your company needs. Another good use is when you need a separate software to handle a specific need, beside other software you already use.
We didn't need a lot of support for it, since all the documentation was well written. Only when we needed a bit more of coding skills we could count on their support to analyse the case and give us the best way to do it, sending the code already done (just copy-paste).

Beneficial and unique email service, I have been using it for five years for my freelancing and other business opportunities. I use it full time on my Smartphone to get updates of my transactions. Replies by some companies. It is somehow better than Google because it is easier to understand than Google. The app is excellent and Organize with Unique UI.
  • User Interface is great.
  • Updates are on time.
  • Android App is great.
  • Quick Delivery.
  • Sometimes the android app faces some problems displaying email, and it keeps loading.
  • It doesn't show the OTP screen when logging in through the WEB sometimes.
  • If you need a unique email.
  • If you don't find a username, you desire to use it on Gmail.
  • Best security features.
  • It can be used anywhere with a mobile App.
  • Well organized Inbox.
  • Well, categorize emails into Spam.
  • I have found the support team to be personable, thorough, helpful, and, most of all, concerned to ensure that I'm getting what I need. from my subscription. They've helped me with setup, configuration, and found solutions to my key problems.
I recommend Zoho Creator very often. A lot of companies go big earlier than they need to and spend way too much on SalesForce & Marketo. I worked for a small company with some limited budget that pivoted to sell it's product to the Enterprise. Zoho Creator was incredibly easy to set up, intuitive to use, and contains all the most essential features that most users need and seek in SalesForce. We integrated with MailChimp & Unbounce and were able to be incredibly useful in acquiring leads, nurturing them, and tracking pipeline in Zoho Creator. Our small sales team found it very easy to use and loved it.

Zoho Creator is a wonderful app and a program we use to manage data heavy components of our business. Creator is a great complement to Zoho CRM, where we manage most of our customers. The ability for Zoho Creator to talk to or syn with the Zoho CRM is what makes this tool so valuable. Part of our business includes entering and storing a lot of data. Once entered we use this data to generate intuitive reports and dashboards to give us insights in to this part of our business.
  • The ease of creating data collecting forms. Anything from creating a form to import all your old excel documents to creating a mobile on-site application where you can input data directly into the app. For a company like us this can help to eliminate the pen and paper approach to recording data.
  • Reporting features are excellent. Slicing and dicing the data from your forms to create any report is possible. Think of it has filters on steroids. The ability to combine data from different forms is a huge plus.
  • Dashboards! Zoho Creator has so much depth to it that it's easy for one to get lost if they are not as familiar with Creator, for example an exuctive or decision making manager. This is where dashboards come in. Admins can build intuitive and smart dashboards that combine all the relevant KPI's that a manager needs to see.
  • Zoho Creator has their own scripting language, Deluge, which is the powerful engine behind what makes Zoho Creator so great. Problem is if you have no coding background it can be a bit difficult to learn, and use to it's full potential.
  • The new UI is awesome, except for parts of the homepage. I wish there was a bit more room for custimization and organization of all your stored apps.
  • The ability to create documents or what they once called record summaries from your stored data. This is our most requested feature for them to add, is an integration with a word processor such as Zoho Writer and the ability to create mail merge like documents within the app.
If you use excel, Zoho Creator is designed for you. The only scenario where it may not be appropriate is if you have thousands upon thousands lines of stored data where you would need to pay extra for this storage.

We use Creator for the management of our College enrolment process. We have 2 users, myself as the app developer and my PA as the app user. We receive over 500 expressions of interest (EOI) per annum. We use the automation capabilities of ZOHO to manage the enrolment process - initiation (EOI) > applicant providing pre interview information > interview booking > Course selections > Report uploading > Special applications ( Scholarships etc). We have now extended the use of Creator for staff leave management and student course change tracking.
  • Workflow efficiencies: Automated emails triggered by a user response has saved our College a huge amount of time and our users are very impressed about confirmation emails and the immediacy of our 'replies'.
  • Scheduled csv report exports which are then incorporated into our network database, easily.
  • The ability to develop an app which meets the specific needs of any organisation is the clincher. We have spent far too much money on 'off the shelf' IT 'solutions' which always lack the capacity to be adjusted. Creator, true to it's name, enables us to do (nearly) anything that we want to do. The scripting language is intuitive and is easy to learn. (I'm 62 yo and the last time that I wrote script was over 40 years ago - I was a Maths teacher in the interim )
  • None, really. They have gone to a new interface which appears to be trying to be more user friendly. I'm not a fan because the power of ZOHO Creator is the ability to free script or (script builder) , which you can still do, but you need to navigate a dashboard designed for people who should probably look for off the shelf solutions.
I write this review only because of a sense of paying forward. Creator has allowed us to revolutionise College operations. The streamlining of our workflow practices and error handling have been very significant. Conservatively, the workflow efficiencies achieved have reduced our cleric requirement by more than 1.0 FTE. This particular ZOHO product is sensational! It is value for money, allowed the College to be a market leader (In our industry, at least) and the flexibility enables us to respond to nearly every/any innovative thought.
The deal is that you need someone in your organisation to have the inspiration to make it happen. You need a Creator! (With a very basic inclination/capacity to script.)

We use a Course Management app in Zoho Creator to track activity in our English language courses that we give onsite at our customers' place of business or homes. We have all schedules set up and classes can be cancelled and rescheduled on the app. In addition, we collect attendance and lesson plan information for each class. The information that is input creates reports and also creates invoices from teachers for the classes that they have taught.
  • Allows us to have an app for our exact needs. We had searched and searched for solutions and even tried some off-the-shelf, ready built apps but none of them were complete. With Zoho Creator we were able to create the app that we needed.
  • We have the ability to access our app across all devices.
  • We also have the ability to update and add functions to the app as we discover and identify other needs.
  • I think that Zoho Creator needs to have better training tools made for the non-developer user. The marketing information makes it sound like you can build an app with no real coding knowledge. From my experience, that is simply not true. There are things that are relatively simple to do, but other things definitely need more advanced coding.
I would say Zoho Creator is good for two things: creating simple applications without the need of a developer, or for creating complex apps to meet your specific business process needs, but in this case, it is best to have an experienced developer work on your project.

I have elevated and improved business and laboratory workflows to the cloud using Zoho Creator. For example, we had an inventory system siloed in three different departments. Now we have one system in Zoho Creator that drives the whole process . In another instance, we had an ill defined analytical request system without a transparent workflow. I created a well defined and totally transparent workflow using Zoho Creator so everybody knows where their requests stand in priority and when the results are available. Additionally, the app was duplicated and is now also used at our Chinese affiliate. Finally we had a need for tracking time on projects. I deployed a time tracking tool that is now used in 6 countries by over 70 users.
  • Prototype a form and database in under 5 minutes
  • Automation of business workflows
  • Easily import or export large databases
  • Create a dashboard of graphs and charts that update in realtime
  • Programmatic manipulations of large databases often run into usage limits for Deluge Statements
  • Limited GUI customizations but they are working on that
  • It's often hard to identify where some code is generating a bug
  • The Zoho team is constantly updating the platform capabilities: this may cause instability in current applications
It's well suited for medium-sized databases and a smaller team of users interacting with the data. It's perfect to encode business workflows. I would not recommend it for document storage and retrieval scenarios. Global accessibility is totally reasonable.

We use Zoho Creator as a backend database and database tool set to help us automate real estate contracts.
  • Flexible.
  • Easy to program.
  • Does a lot of the work for you in database creation and manipulation.
  • Hosted already so you don't have to figure out your own hosting solution.
  • Control - Zoho allows you complete control and portability over your data.
  • Integration with other web services.
  • Design tools to control the look and feel could be improved. I believe they are working on this.
  • Ability to store very sensitive information, such as social security numbers/encrypted database.
  • Easier way to manage multiple access profiles available to web/customer users.
Highly secure databases may not be a good fit, though I understand that Zoho is developing the ability to export the whole database and tools (Zoho Creator) to a user's server. This would eliminate this issue. It is useful for a highly customizable data base with minimal programming experience required.
