Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use it mainly for meetings and webinars. We love the accessiblity features such as captioning, ASL pop out and language interpreting channels. on the other hand, we have most issues with accessibility features.
Pros
- sometimes participants are assigned as an interpreter when they are not suppose to be
- Interpreter who is interpreting back into English, the captions no longer work
- there should really be a stand alone raise your hand button in meetings and rooms so that someone with visual impairment or someone with a screen reader can easily find the function
Cons
- accessibility functions
- better avatar options for hair and clothing
- able to record the ASL interpreter alongside the presentation without needing to do a local recording.
- have meeting from anywhere LOVE THAT
- has helped a lot of ppl with disabilities stay connected
- Skype for Business and now part of Microsoft Teams
I think Zoom Workplace is so much better than Skype
