Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Sales

ZoomInfo Sales is used for identifying prospects and accounts and account intel that we want to target for demand gen and sales targeted campaign. We also use ZoomInfo Sales AI features to draft automated emails and build workflow for our target accounts. We also use "Account fit" feature to understand which accounts in our CRM could be good fits based on look-alikes.

Pros

  • Better accuracy in terms of email contact
  • Higher volume of contact database for our target market
  • Better AI email content based on input of customer pain points and our solution offering

Cons

  • Better accuracy of mobile numbers are needed.
  • Lower no. of contacts are there for India market.
  • Some specific tech stack and intent topics in our category (Cybersecurity) can be added. The volume is good but misses some relevant and important ones.
We find attributes like technology stack, firmographics (revenue, industry), scoops (pain points, projects), likely to engage (by email, phone) as we try to grow our customer base and expand our market. Other data attributes that help us in our go to market motions include sales growth, persona and company location, along with their contact details (email, direct, mobile, LinkedIn).
ZoomInfo Sales seamlessly integrates with our CRM (Salesforce). It also integrates well with HubSpot and the sync from ZoomInfo reachout extension to Salesforce is also helpful. The only downside is no. of credits that gets consumed but ZoomInfo Sales takes care of it ensure any contact that is downloaded or synced once to any system does not get counted twice.

In terms of data accuracy for emails, volume of data for US Market, no. of technology stack, accuracy of scoops data - ZoomInfo Sales ranks higher compared to Lusha and Apollo.io. In terms of data accuracy for persona mobile number, Cognism fares better compared to ZoomInfo Sales but ZoomInfo Sales wins given the brand reputation and other complimentary features that comes in product (including AI).

ZoomInfo Sales is well suited for mid-market and enterprise customers who have a large database already or want to build a large contact database and use it for in-house demand gen and sales prospecting. The AI feature is specifically suited for those teams which have lesser number of marketing employees and/or want to improve team productivity. It is less appropriate if there is only a limited budget or they have just started their operations.
