Overall Satisfaction with Zuora

Zuora is used by multiple departments, but not across the whole organization. It is being used mostly for accounting purposes. We apply payments, generate invoices, reconcile invoices, keep track of customers, send invoices, and generate all kinds of reports that we use for accounting needs. We store all billing information in Zuora.

Pros

  • Easy to use, no need for special training
  • It works for us, because it covers all (or almost all) our needs
  • Very trustful source of information

Cons

  • Zuora uses only a few ways of searching for information, I wish there will be more ways one day. Hard to find necessary information.
  • I don't feel any support as a user.
  • Limited ability for providing information.

We didn't use (at least I didn't) other products, except Zuora so far. However Zuora is definitely helping and is very supportive with managing capabilities such as invoice management, automated billing, applying payments and accounting close. It also helps teams other than accounting to generate and keep track of all financial reporting.
If the business where you are operating has regular needs, no special requests, then Zuora is a good fit. If your business is full of complications (different needs for different customers or products), then I would recommend trying Zuora first, before implementing, because it might not be the best fit.
