If your business requires billing and invoicing on a regular basis, then this is the software for you. Other than this, you can use it for file sharing with your colleagues and team members, but if you require an ideal software which has great UI then it will not reach up-to your expectations.

Dropbox

For my company, Dropbox was nearly ideal. The main problem was the price. Our IT department could not justify keeping it for all departments, so in the end it was only specific users or departments that were using it. This led to some inconsistencies within the organization, as different people shared cloud files in different ways. However, for my department's needs, Dropbox was essential. It was the only service available to us that was fast enough, reliable enough, and full-featured enough for our needs. It is excellent for both cloud-based project collaboration and cloud-based file sharing. For single-user setups, Dropbox may be overkill. There are cheaper or even free alternatives that may meet the needs of many users.

  • Dropbox app can be installed on multiple systems, allowing for multiplatform access to files.
  • Dropbox allows for large files to be sent digitally [...] and has tiered pricing to fit any budget.
  • Dropbox doesn't have a time limit on [its] files like some other competitors, allowing for file access at your own pace.

Cons

Access Legal (DPS Software Spitfire)

  • It’s graphs are hard to read and don’t have as many features as it’s competitors.

Dropbox

  • Our repository has grown with time. Replicating the entire repository on a new machine takes a long time.
  • You can share with people outside of Dropbox. That can be confusing for people who don't use Dropbox.
  • It would be helpful to have better differentiation between personal and work files.

Dropbox is a user-friendly, easy tool which requires little to no skill and they offer a free version with a good amount of storage available. There are other file sharing tools available however at a cost. Dropbox free version I have used for years and it serves every purpose I need.

Dropbox is dead simple to us since right out of the box, it creates a folder on your PC and anything added to it gets synced to the cloud and any other device signed into that account. You can then dive deeper into permissions, version history, etc. Overall though, the minimalist approach is welcome since not everyone we work with is highly technical and that itself saves us time and money. Many of our colleagues already use Dropbox for their personal cloud so no training is required when using it at work other than going over our own company guidelines and best practices.

Dropbox is really useful, you can access any file from anywhere and you can upload and even edit files online, but, sometimes it can be slow. Downloading, uploading, and syncing is a bit slow, it can take several minutes. Furthermore, the search engine for large amounts of data can be slow too and it is not powerful.

It has not been necessary to go to customer support lately, since everything works perfectly. However, I must add that at the beginning when I started using Dropbox, and I had any doubts about how it worked, customer support was always attentive and found the best solutions effectively.

Every software has its pros and cons but Access Legal has more pros than cons as it has integrated all the requirements of customers. I can get everything on the same platform from billing to invoicing, to reply[ing] to the customers and sending auto reply. Everything is there, so it is good.

Dropbox

While Amazon Drive is frequently faster, it has less friendly user interfaces that our employees have difficulty understanding. Dropbox has a largely intuitive user interface that employees are able to use effectively. DropBox offered better customer support than AmazonDrive, which was another factor in making the purchase. Finally, more employees were already familiar with Dropbox (having used it in their personal lives), which made the transition for our business worthwhile.
