Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

Nutshell

This can be used for different industries, healthcare, IT, retail or any company with a customer service line, big or small. if i had to ask, i would say "Do you have any type of filing system that you use?" "anything where you are keeping track of personal/ business information." Do you need access to information on a day to day basis?If they do , then this can be used , especially if you need to keep track of the numbers; we like how we can see if are things going up or down.

Pros

  • Easy to add new contacts whether manually or automatically as they fill in forms on site.
  • The banners feature is useful to flag important messages regarding certain users.
  • The email reporting is easy to see CTR open rate etc.

  • Keyword search, location search lets you know where on the map your account is, helps with follow ups, sends notifications via email at least 15 to 30 mins ahead of time, like that. :) I love that i don't even have to read , to know what is going on . Everything is color coded, email blue, notes yellow/orange, calls white. We can track our progress easily for the day, and see where we can use improvements. Completely organized like a filing system.
  • Home page lets you see real time view of what you have been doing, for example, calls that were made, who you called and any notes left and if emails were sent, date, time and location you sent to is updated almost instantly
  • For any company who relies heavily on lead generation, this is a software that will keep track of past present and future leads. by location, by industry, by volume, and more. I can see this software being used by other industries

Cons

  • If a lead is marked as "hard bounce", meaning that a sent email bounced, the system will not send any more emails to that lead. The only way to fix this is to delete the lead and add it again. This results in losing all history from the lead.

  • I would like to see call times on nutshell. how long was the call that was made , when was athe note opened and how long did it take ot complete the note. i like that i can reach notifications on any page , but i would like to be able to have more bullets for contat information. for example 1 account and 12 possible contacts can be made but when creating a lead wont show all the contacts (on the drop down contact bar on leads pages) so i can create lead, So have to go back delete some contacts then back to leads page so i can pull up the lead and save.
  • when scheduling activity on accounts page i cant leave notes for what to do on the activity on the schedule activity window. only on the notes part of account , so when i am notified of the activiy via email i have to search m y notes to see what i was supposed to call for.
  • A drop down box for schedule activity i would like to see more options, like follow up / check in etc
  • I think it would be cool to have a note pop up with relevant info that can be saved to specific accounts on account page by just hovering over the account. for example, instead of saving information on the accounts name (Company Name , # No longer in service /closed down) it would be nice to hover over it and save information about the company so i dont have to click on it to see whats going on, or see an account with a name thats like 20 words long :0 It makes it harder to do key word search, that would be great if the same thing could be done for conctacts without having to scroll through a year's worth of notes. still like it a lot even without the change. just fyi

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

I trialed a number of other CRMs much to the disgust of my colleagues!
  • Pipedrive was great but more sales focussed and heavy on Javascript so felt slow at times
  • OnePageCRM was good but no sales automation when we tried it
  • Highrise - wanted to love it but too basic and even though we had a free license bundled with Basecamp we didn't use it.
  • Capsule was good but basic
  • Salesforce was too complicated to learn
  • Infusionsoft and Hubspot were too hard sell (Hubspot wanted a 1 year commitment)

I did not select Nutshell CRM. My employer has that information, but as far as I feel, Nutshell has better uses than Zoho CRM and can be used just as effectively in B2B relations. We only use Nutshell for candidate data, so business contacts are not mixed.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • Agile CRM is such an integral part of our business, that I can imagine life without it. If we didn't have it, it would mean missing important calls, not following up on key leads, and not having current contact information for many of our clients, vendors, and prospects.
  • In addition to cost savings, agile CRM also helps me save time. It's very responsive, so updating records is not a hassle. I particularly like being able to import details from someone's LinkedIn page without having the type of thing.
