mmhmm is, by far, the absolute best presentation platform I have found - and I have looked a lot and demoed a lot of them. The flexibility, ease of use and visually engaging experience that mmhmm provides has, without fail, been a game changer tool no matter the presentation styles. While it is, hands down, the best virtual presentation platform, I have not been able to level up my in-person experiences to the same degree as I have online. I will continue to explore how and where I can integrate the mmhmm Studio toolsets to pump up my in-person experiences.

Depends on the needs of the user, if they are just refreshing Slides, and updating basic elements, I believe Microsoft Powerpoint Online is sufficient. It still relies on a regular internet connection, but backs up immediately to whichever service you are using for cloud storage. For advance users, designers, or people trying to have more management in their decks I believe desktop is the way to go.

Vidyard has been critical for our team in many ways. One way that we didn't realize how much we'd be using it is for training new teammates while we're all working remotely. I frequently use the chrome extension to record a video of how to do something to send to our whole team or certain teammates. There are other products that do that, but this seems to be the most efficient, easiest, and quickest. Vidyard is incredibly useful for both inbound, and outbound sales and marketing strategies. It helps us increase our open and click rate for emails and overall engagement for our customer journey.

Easily integrates static slides, animations and video without having to have vast technical skills.
It's an intuitive application to use. In a few minutes you sign up, start a new presentation and you're underway. It's pretty plug-n-play.
I've recommended it to my "non-technical" friends and they love it. They told me it was super easy to use and has made them more excited to create and share their presentations.

In the future I might like to see a fast-swap handoff to fellow presenters like we do in a live presentation.
Getting more updates on the platform advances in emails would be helpful. Like the recent sharing of useful templates was awesome.
I'd like to see more user stories shared to see how others are using the platform to make their presentations stand out. These kinds of things are helpful in feeding my ideas and insights for my next meeting, presentation and lessons.

Running a presentation from PowerPoint online has been a disappointing experience. Things just don't react as smoothly as they do in the offline version because we're relying on sometimes iffy internet connections.
Video does not play well when it's embedded and played through the online version.
Downloading a PPT file that was created online creates almost no inconsistencies, but in my experience uploading a PPT to the online version that was created offline sometimes does create issues with fonts and formatting.

I would rather change to other tool if I could. Microsoft Powerpoint Online was top-down forced without a real technical (maybe financial only) reason, and I think the product itself looks like a poor adaptation of the offline version. In my experience, it cannot be properly used in real time collaboration, can't handle large media (images/videos), has low performance even for a single user, it is a nightmare.

Vidyard has truly become an essential part of our organization. It's useful for our day to day communication internally amongst departments and externally with our customers. This platform has allowed us to create knowledge base articles, training portals, webinars and communicate effectively with our customers. We receive raving feedback from customers on how helpful the videos are that they receive. We also like the ability to view metrics, insights, etc. of the videos. Always allows us to pivot accordingly based on the feedback we receive

Its about as usable as regular powerpoint to the normal user. The lack of some tools is fine and will go unnoticed. When presenting, you'll see animations may lag behind a bit, so I still recommend downloading to desktop to share content in a presentation once it is finalized.

Vidyard is super easy for new people to pick up - I've never had to spend time explaining the UI or menu, which is a testament so how easy it is. The plugin also makes it quite user-friendly. There's no need to go anywhere else - it's all on the browser.

It performs very well. I have never had any bugs while recording, and none of the videos have been impaired or corrupted. I don't believe it integrates with any other software but you could contact the company to learn more. I am not sure if it is only available on Chrome.

Customer support at Vidyard has always been good. When I first looked into the product, the salesperson took a consultative approach that allowed me to see how Vidyard would benefit our specific use case. It's pretty straightforward. The bulk of the work goes on outside of Vidyard - it's the time required to add different videos to your website - that was probably the only difficult part and had nothing to do with Vidyard.

Of all the platforms out there - believe me, I've tried them all - or try to avoid them whenever I can - mmhmm stands on its own with its unique platform benefits, visualizations, ease of use, sharability, affordability, and overall "Wow" factor that we hope to get from our audiences. No matter what it is we are presenting. To have that ability to integrate and gravitate to our presentations has proven to be a game changer that really did not take a lot for us to do. Even better is the fact that we still may have to - for whatever reason - build a presentation in one of the slide builder apps we can still import them seamlessly into mmhmm and use the mmhmm interface as our camera when we use the other platforms. It's been a complete win, win, win all around.

I have used Prezi also in my last company along with Microsoft Powerpoint Online. But I feel that Prezi has also good features like designs, frames, themes etc but this tool is really complex to use as compared to Microsoft Powerpoint Online

I've never evaluated another product like Vidyard. I just used screen recordings with RingCentral before, and I remember the file size being very large and having to add the video as an attachment. So this was a major improvement to be able to shoot videos and easily share with my clients.

We save hundreds of dollars a month because we don't have to send out nearly as many physical samples for customers to review. We can send them a video that shows off the product and they love it!
We have improved conversion rates as a result of using Vidyard to communicate with new leads.
Our sales reps are clearly more engaged in the sales process. Each week we discuss how Vidyard helped them win a deal.
