Apptopia has a much deeper iOS database than Datanyze, however Datanyze seemed to have more accurate SDK information in Android. Apptopia provided much more data on mobile traffic, revenue #'s, and demographics than Datanyze. These features are very appealing to an advertising …
Overall it stacked up poorly against other competitors. The inaccurate info, limited coverage on apps and slow UI made it an unpleasant experience. I do not recommend using this program and think there are better solutions out there. The customer support also was not great.
We initially went to Datanyze for email hunting and list building. As we learned more about the feature they offer we realized their data was not as accurate as we needed. During our evaluation of the product there were lots of promises of Beta features or things in the future …
OneSignal comes with a free plan and easy integration, unlike CleverTap which has a starting price of $200 per month and a difficult integration process. That is why we selected OneSignal instead of CleverTap.
In my opinion, OneSignal documentation / API is more friendly [than] Firebase. Maybe because Firebase is already "too big," but OneSignal is focused on one solution that giving our notification through to our customer. In that case, OneSignal is chosen by our company. Several …
Look Firebase is a complete platform that includes a Push notification/InApp space. We had a lot of troubles while implementing Firebase: sometimes we thought it was ready until we tried to attach an image for Push notifications. This being said, the developers had to review …
OneSignal is the one that has more integrations with plugins, external API and that is completely free and easy to install. They have a very good UI with many options and they will never ask for money to use this service. You can have unlimited subscribers and you can send …
OneSignal is much more user-friendly, is free to use, and integrates with many more services. After the great redesign of OneSignal, it has become even better: easy localizations of the push, A/B tests and templates work great. Besides, there are a number of parameters you can …
At first the platform was great although after a while we noticed lots of inconsistencies when we compared with other platforms and confirmed when speaking with publishers. The coverage for iOS was also not great. Overall the coverage was not sufficient. The UI was beautiful looking although if it's not accurate it is pointless.
I think One Signal is very well suited for mobile app owners who want to be in touch with their user base more easily by sending push notifications and in-app messages. I'm not sure how well that works for SMS messaging as I haven't yet tried it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if your in-apps are very rare.
Apptopia not only allows you to see what technologies are being used in an app, but also when an technology is removed, inactive or installed.
You can create alerts to help you stay on top of changes in the market, SDK, revenue, user base and more.
The benefits of working with an SMB company is you get their full attention at any point in the customer lifecycle. Early on to our usage of Apptopia we had the Chief Product Officer getting on calls and video shares with us to hear our feedback, ask for suggestions and to showcase new/upcoming features. They have excellent customer support and are constantly updating and adding to their already amazing product.
The employees that work there are very receptive and helpful as well. I was reviewing another tool for my company to use and noticed one of their managers had left a review about the given tool. I personally reached out to her asking for her opinion and feedback before buying and she responded within a day.
I give an 8 in this question mainly for 2 reasons: the products even if they look like complete and are highly customizable and usable, they are still missing some logical features. For example, send messages to a list of users - now days you can do it with postman and get calls. A second example is App messaging that is still in development and has many opportunities.
Their customer support has been top-notch. They are able to assist you in getting through any problems that you may have and respond in a very timely manner. I've dealt with them on 4-5 instances over the years and my issues were always resolved within a matter of a few business days.
We initially went to Datanyze for email hunting and list building. As we learned more about the feature they offer we realized their data was not as accurate as we needed. During our evaluation of the product there were lots of promises of Beta features or things in the future and not a ton of focus or confidence in what they offered currently. We did leverage and benefit from Datanyze for a decent amount of time, but when we evaluated a side by side comparison, Apptopia came out on top. Datanyze is a little different where they can pull lists of contacts, but at the end of the day we saw App data more important than those lists
Look Firebase is a complete platform that includes a Push notification/InApp space. We had a lot of troubles while implementing Firebase: sometimes we thought it was ready until we tried to attach an image for Push notifications. This being said, the developers had to review the integration several times until we decided to change to OneSignal. Also while using Firebase I was not convinced with the look and feel of the Notifications. My vote here is OneSignal.
