Organizations seeking to strengthen their IT security posture can benefit from Atera's security features. The platform's vulnerability scanning, patch management, and endpoint security capabilities help identify, remediate, and prevent security threats. Atera's reporting features provide insights into security risks and compliance status, enabling organizations to make informed decisions to improve their overall security posture.
Whether Juniper Flex Licensing is suited or not well totally depends on how network is consumed. I believe it is well suited for Data Centres, service providers, and security. As with Juniper Flex Licensing, you can right size the investments according to the needs of the company. I dont think it is suited for SME's.
Support, if you need them they are there and they always have the answers you need.
The AI scripting features allow you to really hit the ground running. You can give it a prompt and it will give you a script that will be very close to what you need. All you have to do is polish it up and test it out.
I love having the ability to use multiple remote access tools, in the event a machine has an issue with one of them, or if a cloud service goes down, you have a fallback.
The shared script library is an amazing resource for troubleshooting and streamlining.
The development teams are open to adding features and have done so frequently based on user requests.
As of right now, we have found nothing that can offer as many features as Atera does along with the affordability. They are doing monthly releases each month and not just making small changes (shared scripting library, chocolatey support, Install packages, Splashtop SOS support, Scheduled tickets to name a few). The uptimes are great and accessibility to the dashboard has yet to be limited. We are a happy customer and bordering on fanboy status now
Atera is designed very user-friendly for IT teams to quickly identify and resolve issues before they become major problems with automated administrative tasks and saves lots of time, real-time monitoring helps monitor all the devices through the central console and offers a range of features and tools to help streamline IT management, including ticket management and patch management.
Atera support provides answers to my questions lightning fast. They have never left me feeling like I'm out there on my own. I can ask questions by email, or by chat, or by opening a ticket with them and they are always on it quickly. They also have a forum where other Atera users can help you if you need it, and you can also add feature requests via the forum.
Connectwise is great, no question. But for smaller companies like us, having a technician cost vs a per device cost was the tipping point. We can add as many devices as we want without having to pay for each one. Sometimes when onboarding a new client this can be a huge perk, you might add systems that are going to be quickly retired once you get a lay of the land. Having no extra cost for that, frees you up to analyze every nook & cranny of a network. This has been huge for us.
Juniper went down for the last few years because of no updates in the market, and Cisco took over, wherein Juniper recently has come back with new updates like Juniper Flex Licensing, and this is one of the best models of Juniper and now in utmost competition with Cisco.
Time is money, and Atera has saved us a significant amount of time in supporting our customers. Before Atera, we would have to walk to the office of where the issue is to be able to fix even the most simple of tasks. And more often than not, it would actually take more time to walk to/from these locations that it took to resolve the issue itself. Now, with the ability of remote support, we can easily jump into a computer and resolve the issue instantly.
Atera has also helped us to save money through the integration of Emsisoft Antivirus. Previously we would have to buy a set number of licenses for all of our devices upfront for a whole year, whether we used that many or not. Now with the integration of Emsisoft, we now only have to pay $1 per install per month. We have recently implemented this at our site so we have not been able to determine the exact amount of money saved, but at this rate it is looking like we will be saving thousands!
