Avatier Identity Anywhere vs. RoboForm

Ease of use and a very customer focused catalog process. Would like service now functionality implemented with the tool so teams can user 1 work tool to work from. The access governance process is very well designed and extremely useful for our organization to be able to identify users that have the inappropriate access levels for their current roles

I use it on an almost hourly basis. With probably 10+ years of use, I have used it for everything and have found very little that it won't complete, but it isn't very good on mobile devices. I use it on my phone strictly as a reference because it does not work with either Samsung internet browser or Chrome for Android.

• It allows our users to request access to VPN and shared drive on their own.

• You can store multiple users
• It also has a mobile app which is great

• The only issue I have come across is that if a user begins to reset their password, but doesn't remember all of their security questions, sometimes the tool triggers a reset even if they didn't successfully reset themselves. This becomes a problem in an environment that has password complexity requirements, such as not being able to change your password again within a 24 hour period.

• Recommend periodic purging of unused passwords.
• Offer a "compromised password" alert feature.
• Don't remind me about a recent update as often as you do now. (I might be able to control this on my desktop's notification settings?)

At the time that we implemented the solution Avatier appeared to be the best solution and has continued to meet our needs in this space

The number one alternative we see is LastPass. Many of our clients use it and are happy with it and I'm sure it's very close to RoboForm. I have personally used RoboForm for at least 10 years and have been extremely happy with it, so we did not do much comparing recently.

• The main positive is the number of calls into our help desk or LAN team have gone down to a few calls a week; instead of the masses going to them on a daily basis.

• It helps to keep my business secure.
• Saves time filling out forms.
• Saves more time than writing out all of your passwords with pen and paper.
