Likelihood to Recommend NortonLifeLock (formerly Symantec)
It is good for organizations that need an AV solution that does really well in AV detection/performance tests, and also has a good track record for using little system resources on the client machine. It is less suited for organizations that want an AV product that is historically used by the industry or is known as an industry standard (e.g. Microsoft products, etc).
Read full review I have experience with Watchguard Endpoint Security (EPDR) with small companies of five or more endpoints to large companies with hundreds of endpoints and find it well-suited for both types and everything in between. However, it is particularly good for companies with lean IT departments due to the awesomely automated and intelligent tools it provides for quick investigation and response. Also, its automated white list approval process for unknown executables is extremely fast thereby reducing and sometimes even eliminating delays that could impair employee performance.

It detects adware (sometimes you just need some ease of advertisement) and phishing. It has Webguard, that allows us to block access to malicious websites. It scans email (POP3 and SMTP), an everyday tool I personally use. It has Bootable RescueCD, wich helps to remove malware and system recoveries. It has a very high detection rate and a very fast scanning engine. Read full review Centralized management makes monitoring simple. Deployment is quick, easy, and automatable. Zero Trust means exactly that - if a process is not KNOWN to be safe, it is blocked until evaluated. IT managers can block or grant authority to override the automatic protection in case of the immediate need to allow a process known to be safe. For the use that I currently give to my laptop it works very well, but it can fail if your way of surfing the web is careful and you dedicate yourself to visit infected forums, download files from any part, or use bad programs. Read full review As with any application of this nature, it can block processes or other suspected security risks that are actually safe. While easy to use, it sometimes provides less learning opportunities for less experienced staff who are not as well-versed in these applications. Easy and intuitive MSP management portal to manage all of your clients from a single pane of glass. Policies can be pushed down globally or individually based on needs. The client portal allows access to their tenant information and installs only which is nice if you are working with clients who might have an internal person or an IT team that also wants access to things to manage themself.

The software is 100% managed on a cloud platform that can be managed via an account even if they are not present within the company network where the software is installed, I even always opened the control panel on the browser of my smartphone to monitor the situation.I have never experienced any abnormal software crashes

The only annoyance I complain, if we want to be picky, is the fact of the constant disconnections from the control panel.Every about 4 hours the account logs out even if I set the "remember this device" flag; having said that I have not noticed neither slowdowns nor conflicts with other software

Since the product runs really well overall, and I haven't really run into any major issues, I have not had a need to contact the vendor directly for support. I have perused the vendor's site for other support channels, and they do have a number of good support options, such as submitting a request, KB articles, and Community forums. One support option that does not seem to be available (or might be really hard to find) is a direct line to call for phone support. As an individual or business member you can submit a request via a web form, which then will be sent to the tech support team, at which point they will call you.
Read full review I gave it a 10 because I compare it to air conditioning. I need it to work every day, 24/7. I need it to be reliable and not something that requires a ton of interaction from staff to make sure it works every day. In addition, I should be able to run other things at my house when the AC is on. Panda fits that description.

The software goes manually on a PC only on the company network and then proceeds through that PC to install the software on all the other clients through the control panel where all the clients / servers on the network are detected with extreme speed and ease of execution, even for uninstallation and remote control over scans

F-Secure despite being a good antivirus when it comes to protecting home equipment does not act the same for business protection because its performance is much lower as well as its ease of use while Avira meets these requirements and its protection is much more complete and efficient, since not only acts against common threats but it is also optimal to protect against advanced threats and the one that works in real time makes the virus detection rate much more efficient before any other antivirus, that is why It is ideal for the protection of business teams
Read full review Very similar. I feel like Watchguard need to get a better foothold with people trusting the name in the endpoint space. It has pretty much everything S 1 does but it also provides so much more. Simple things like patch management and encryption are fantastic adding that deliver true security value

With the implementation of watchguard (at the beginning Panda Endpoint, but it is the same) I was able to insert in the control panel all the unauthorized software previously installed by colleagues without any authorization from the various department heads. Now any licensed software goes into lockdown and can be unlocked from the control panel

I have not had serious infections due to viruses or Trojans. In addition, every time a malicious code is downloaded, Avira detects it and blocks it fast enough. So, I have not had to re-format my PC, I have not lost documents that I had stored on disk C, and of course, I have not lost time trying to recover the data from my PC. I've also been able to install it on not-so-powerful PCs, so its users have been able to continue using their computers without any problem and also avoid serious infections. Read full review [...] The ability to make website URL and category viewing restrictions resulted in higher productive personnel and reduced the risks of infection. For the IT department, the centralised management console with all the information and tasks prepared to deploy to the endpoints helps us work more efficiently and faster. The ROI has been really good along [the] years, with a safer environment our employees work better and without stress, that translates in productivity.
