Bonterra Network for Good suits our needs for tracking donations, adding contacts, and categorizing them for email blasts, text messages, videos, and newsletters. We always know each contact's donation status, whether they're a "new donor," "active donor," or "lapsed donor." This software is very user-friendly. And if you have questions, "Ask Que. It's great!! This software is also affordable. We love it!

Virtuous is a great tool for fundraisers and nonprofit organizations that want to keep all their donor records, gift transactions, donation landing pages, and reporting in one platform. It may not be well suited, though, for for-profit businesses, organizations, and agencies.

In exporting reports, it would be helpful to have a "select all" option so you can easily select everything without having to manually click each one.
In exporting reports, it may be helpful to have the option of saving various options for different needs so you don't have to manually click or unclick each choice every time, as you can currently only save one type.
It would be helpful to be able to change an event/ticket information after it has already gone live for sales as we recently had an issue with this.

Virtuous only keeps track of contacts on forms for a given period of time, not the lifetime of when the form was deployed.
Virtuous Customer Support can sometimes lag, and you end up waiting days for a response to your inquiry or issue.
Virtuous reporting, while very detailed and segmented, can sometimes be a little overwhelming, and the terminology does not always translate to what you are looking to accomplish with your reporting outcomes.

We are still learning and rebuilding our nonprofit using this platform, so this year is a trial run to see how we can increase our network and our donations. So long as we are able to see a significant return on investment in terms of donations received through the platform, we will renew for next year.

I gave a usability rating of 10 because Bonterra Network for Good is a very simple software program. The program is set up so it's really easy to learn, especially with the great resources they have available. It's also really easy to use - it's very user friendly and intuitive. You can also easily contact a representative who can help walk you through whatever you need.

In my experience, Virtuous CRM has great self-marketing, talented salespeople, and a half-baked CRM that shows glimmers of competence but the actual experience is more akin the the scene in the Simpson’s when Sideshow Bob keeps stepping on rakes.

In 5+ years we have never had an issue with it not working when we needed it to. It is very reliable and doesn't seem to have a lot of bugs or interruptions in service.

It is always fast for us and reports have a very quick upload time. We don't integrate it into other programs so I'm not 100% sure about that, but it always works when we use it and is very reliable. Even when we run Excel files for complete information on donors, it always works very fast.

Most of the time they are quick and friendly and help me resolve any issues. There have only been a couple of times that we couldn't find a resolution and I was just told that NFG didn't have that capability.

The implementation of using Bonterra Network for Good within our organization went very easily, with no large issues. We had help internally as well as from one of the Bonterra Network for Good representatives who helped to get all of our data imported seamlessly. It was an easy process that they walked us through.

The main difference, in my opinion, was that at Network for Good we had a representative who helped us when we couldn't solve a problem ourselves. At Bloomerang, I had to go through several channels to reach someone. (Once I did, we haven't had an issue since.) We like Bloomerang's products (Qgiv - Bloomerang Fundraising) and the communications tools. We wish Bloomerang had texting as Network for Good did. Ultimately, though, we have found that FundraiseUp has the best donation page option for our organization.

In my experience, the sales pitch and demos are slick, but upon actual use there is a quick realization that no small or medium charity should touch this software with a 10-ft pole. In my opinion, if you have a large org with lots of cash, and a dedicated database manager who is tech-literate, you can make this work. HubSpot is by far my favorite but lacks the nonprofit features needed to truly manage donor relationships and portfolios.

Provides a pathway to increase the number of events the organization can manage.
By being part of a larger group of non-profits that utilize Network For The Good, we receive additional assistance and ideas from related organizations.
