Brightmove is well suited to a large active team of recruiters. It is too expensive to be good for a smaller shop, especially if there are several users. If you are considering this product, I recommend that you ask about upgrades and improvements, "up time", what the service response is like, what new interfaces they are planning, what will be included in the next release, and how that new release will be communicated in advance

Zoho Recruit

The scenario where Zoho Recruit could be much more exploitable would be where you have the other platforms that are in the Zoho suite, such as Zoho CRM, to be able to cover different areas of the same office work without having to buy another service. Likewise, being able to use it in conjunction with a CRM service, it is feasible that it can be used to cover the area of communication with customers, and that this serves to create evaluations of the treatment that employees offer them. When it comes to reporting incidents or behaviors, this is a very favorable possibility. With its self-service tools, employees can manage their time and attendance information on their own, since by means of an attendance reading tool, all the aforementioned information is kept secure and free from subsequent changes by employees once it has been updated.

  • Zoho Recruit provides automated workflows that be defined to trigger emails for changes in the pipeline stage of a candidate.
  • Zoho Recruit provides the ability to create email templates that can be triggered from the candidates profile without having to retype them.
  • Zoho Recruit enables resume parsing from doc, docx and pdf files which automates the data entry of candidates.
  • Zoho Recruit allows for the creation of a simple career website with the open job positions auto populating from the application onto the site.
  • Zoho Recruit allows for the creation of vendor portals enabling you to better manage the flow of resumes from recruiting vendors.

  • Brightmove could add more screening questions to applicants when they are applying to a job. The feature that is already there is not really useful.
  • Brightmove needs to separate internal applicants from external applicants.

Zoho Recruit

  • Mass email - the mass email is a bit cumbersome to set up - you have to set up a new template, then in a separate place set up a filter for the emails, then put it all together and send the email. It takes about 15-20 minutes when it would be nice if it was easier and quicker. When they introduce job alerts (I'm told in a few months time), the automatic job alerts to candidates will relieve some of the mass email necessity, so that will be helpful.
  • Email integration - the email client attached to Zoho isn't very user friendly, it would be useful if Zoho had a plug-in to permit seamless integration with external email clients, like Outlook or MacMail.
  • Invoicing - Zoho has no integration or capability to track what happens with clients once a candidate is placed. It would be nice if we could somehow track the fee for a candidate and the total fees we need to charge each client. Or, better yet, if it integrated with an external invoicing tool like Freshbooks.

Brightmove has worked well as we are a company with 120 employees. For as long as we stay around this size, we will continue with Brightmove, but as we grow we will start looking for an ATS that can directly tie into our CRM (NetSuite). The price point is great for the functionality when compared to other ATS solutions

We have evaluated every other ATS on the market, and do so every 1-2 years just to make sure we aren't missing out on anything better, and found that Zoho offers more functionality than any ATS with a per-recruiter-price under $100. Once it introduces automated job alerts and candidate login functionality there will be no reason for us to look elsewhere.

The Customer Support is the best part of using this ATS vs others. They have a chat feature on the home page where you can ask a question and have a Customer Service rep help you in less than a minute. I have found that to be invaluable and a life saver on several occasions. I'm not sure you get that kind of service from a bigger ATS provider.

I give Zoho Recruit this rating because over all, it has helped me to organize my candidates and saved me time and energy in organizing them myself. Without Zoho Recruit, I simply would not be able to keep my talent pool straight, and it certainly gets the job done.I took off a couple points because if I download a resume after already inputting the candidate into Zoho, it won't automatically sync the two profiles up. It also does not remind me when a task is expired.

It isn't even remotely close how much better Brightmove is compared to PCRecruiter. PCRecruiter is living in the early 90s, while Brightmove has brought recruiting and ATS software into 2018. Highly recommend it.

The ability to modify different fields, the accuracy of parsing is efficient, and the ease of implementation and support makes Zoho Recruit a standout platform. From the pricing tiers they have for different businesses and organizations plus the ratings we saw for the platform... it just made sense for our organization.
