Broadbean

Broadbean is well suited in the event that a candidate search has come to a standstill, and it's become virtually impossible to find the right person for the job. Broadbean serves as a method and tool to find that "passive" candidate who could lead to a placement. Because it's easy to use and versatile, the posting is not time-consuming or tedious.

Monster

It is very well for the IT recruitment. Database of the C2C is candidate is very large and very helpful. Monster.com timely do the updates so less bugs and less issues compared to other portals. Using different to get the best potential candidate is very good while using Monster Job Portal.

Pros

Broadbean

  • Posting job adverts
  • Easy to search for candidates

Monster

  • The search strings are very accurate. If you put in the right keyword you will definitely get the right candidate. I have used the asterisk (*)keyword, and every time I use it, I get candidates that I am looking for. This keyword will help me to find candidates writing the same base word in the resume.
  • The job posting is another service that Monster excels at. There is a filter question within the job posting option which lets you make sure that only relevant candidates apply to your job posting. This is a very efficient method with which you do not waste your time dealing with not relevant candidates.

Cons

Broadbean

  • Some of the job boards that serve on Broadbean are not the best, and can sometimes reach the wrong type of candidate (background & experience level).
  • The technology needs to be updated with the new ATS changes. There hasn't been an update to the system in quite some time.
  • They could work on parsing their data better with social media outlets, like posting on Linkedin, Twitter, etc.

Monster

  • The cost to use service
  • Limiting the number of resume views
  • Sometimes multiple login create the issue of not getting the proper results

I would rate Monster.com support with a high rating of 10 because even though the platform is super simple to use we do occasionally have a question or two that come up and we've found that the Monster support team is pretty quick at getting back to us and providing clear answers

We use Indeed quite often as we are able to post positions for free however, we do not always get a quality candidate like we can from Monster.com

Return on Investment

Broadbean

  • It is great to post adverts to multiple job boards and get that information out to a wide audience

Monster

  • The visibility of the job postings when sponsored was enhanced and hence the chances of attracting a larger number of candidates went higher.
  • The improved and the advanced filter options have paved the way for recruiters to find the right set of candidates for the positions available.
