CiraSync is well suited to syncing company contacts into the Outlook user's mailbox. This could allow for calling with an IP phone, or from a cell phone.It's also well suited to syncing Calendars and Notes into the Outlook user's mailbox, where they do not already have permission on the calendar. However, to avoid confusion it is better not to duplicate calendars when the user can see them from Outlook.

I believe this system would be well suited for any business. It has so many features that can be tailored to your specific needs. We personally have a lot of need to be able to track and adjust a data flow for active jobs. We have multiple people with tasks from start to finish tied to the same job. With this software we have been able to see how we could be more efficient in our process and decrease turn around times. It has also allowed for us to CYA with customers on changes made that effect timing for completion. I [feel like] the down side would be for a company that would have outside data coming in this would not be the best option.

  • It's so intuitive. Zero tech expertise is required to get up and running quickly, and you can build your workflows and processes as you go.
  • It's so malleable. It's incredibly easy to add to or change the structure of boards, move files around, etc., and importing data (like spreadsheets) is an absolute dream.
  • It's so searchable. For the first time ever, we know where or how to find every file, message, related email, or client purchase history and we can keep it all together in one place.
  • It has a dazzling array of automation and integrations with other apps. They are super easy to apply, and they just work! First time! No frustrating cryptic error messages!

  • The time trackers are great but can be glitchy at times, not tracking properly, or needing to be refreshed multiple times to display the correct time.
  • I would LOVE to see more social media integrations - specifically, to use a social media content board to post to social media when the status is changed (via automation or manually)
  • Kajabi integrations. That would make my life so much easier! I'm trying to find workarounds to create reports based on our Kajabi data but don't want to use Zapier.

I think this platform has great usability, if you know the platform. I really dove in when I started using it and played around with different items to try and improve my team's use of it. I think it can be a little bit confusing or easy-to-mess-up if you don't have very much experience with it, but once I dove in and got to know the platform, it is super easy to use and customize to fit your needs. The automations are helpful (although my team does not use many of them). We have also not integrated monday.com with a lot of platforms but I know there is that option.

This is definitely a huge strong point of Monday.com. Even when I think it might be after hours and plan on a longer response time, they come through with a quick and friendly response. I've never been met with an "I don't know" or a simple "Yeah, that's not possible to do." They've either had the response, made sure to track down the answer in a timely manner, and/or not only explain the limitation but also add whether it's something they're already working on or what they will do to make sure the info reaches the right team

We signed up for the accounts. Created the accounts. Ran the trial version and tested it live while we were running multiple projects and found that it was fitting our needs perfectly. When the trial ended and we were asked to purchase the full version, we did. We have found other ways to use it and it's a breeze.

We tried 4Team Sync2 Cloud and also itrezzo. While we were not able to justify installing a server, installing a cloud app from the Microsoft store was easy and fit our business needs.

We used an excel spreadsheet to track our month end close process previously which created a lot of issues around only one person being able to be in the checklist at any given time. Additionally, we were unable to have excel notify us when a task we need to have completed was done, but Monday.com has completely changed that for us!

Return on Investment

  • It is difficult to capture specific dollar based ROI in this circumstance. Anecdotally, when it is 3 a.m. and I get an urgent call about an emergent issue at a remote location -- at my fingertips and the fingertips of everyone I work with are the names and phones numbers of our important contacts, site codes that we need to relay to emergency services, and other important information. I don't waste time searching for a piece of paper. I don't worry whether the next person I'm calling has a different site code or phone number. The data is readily available and consistent with all employees.
