It is very helpful if you need to restrict the apps a student or employee can have on their device. I had teachers using Netflix on the iPads before I brought them under management. Restricting them will make you unpopular with some of your employees, however, I advise them the device is being provided for business use and, therefore we have the right and responsibility to manage it.
Rippling automates the entire onboarding process, from sending offer letters to setting up benefits and configuring IT devices. It automatically calculates taxes, deductions, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, making payroll runs efficient and error-free.
The contract management is so easy and clear, I can send new contract negotiations, also I use to use Rippling to make invoices but it and the need to update my payment information every month takes care by Rippling automatically
The platform is synchronized with third party software to track time so my reports are uploaded without intervention.
You can generate or review reports from tracking time directly, its so straightforward and the statistics can be obtained in any view that you will need.
All the news and request for me are notified in real time by email or popups in my phone, I don't lose anything that will need my attention in that platform.
Limited ability for "command line" functions. For example, we had a laptop that was stolen and showed to be online, but we could not wipe it. We were able to access a command prompt, but it would not accept DISKPART or FORMAT commands to try and make the PC unusable.
The GPS location is not terribly accurate and frequently it "guesses" location based off of an IP address rather than actually activating the GPS on the device. This makes tracking lost/stolen devices very difficult.
Difficulty getting devices to correctly show their status in the dashboard. For example, I can have a PC that is online and connected to the Internet, but shows to be offline in the dashboard. Only after refreshing many times would it indicate that the PC was actually online, thus allowing me to administer it.
Rippling continues to innovate and amaze me with their new innovations and features. Product feedback is taken seriously so I always give it whenever I can and end up seeing results. Rippling is the new wave of HRIS that cannot compare against others in the industry just due to the fact they are super user friendly!
It has is easy to use overall and is very powerful. The learning curve for the system is very small and I have found it easy to train members of our team to use it. It can fit any size organization and the support is excellent. The ROI is well worth it. If you have a multiplatform ecosystem, this tool is near perfect.
Rippling is very simple to use. Our organization has a very diverse talent pool, so finding a HR tool that is easy to train people how to use is very important. Some companies struggle with managing their HR, but Rippling has helped reduce time the time and effort required to manage employees on a large scale.
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
We have found that Cisco Meraki has always had very good customer support. In the rare case, when we have needed assistance they have always been quick to respond and solve the issue.
Quick, effective resolution, without adding unnecessary roadblocks and obstacles. Sometimes so many of the products hide their support behind multiple layers of unnecessary and wasteful handshakes. They ask repeatedly for name or email or phone or company code or any other number of identifiers, before answering something which could be as simple as the website link for Rippling.
The only product I have used that is similar is Apple Configurator. While a powerful solution, it requires physical access to the devices which is not always possible, especially on a large site. Meraki is able to achieve many of the same functions as the Apple configurator but without ever needing to physically access the device, other than initial setup and registration.
Rippling is much better than Deltek Costpoint. Costpoint was not clear at all to use. Things were hard to find and understand. We also used to use so many different programs to find other information. Rippling streamlines everything in one convenient place, including all the information I need for my company.
It’s scalable up to a point and will scale well from small to a medium business, however, as a business grows and policies get more mature or detailed, you might have to later upgrade to a more appropriate enterprise solution such as MaaS360 or AirWatch. This solution however, will last quite a long tome for a growing business.
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
Our immediate take away has been a savings of thousands a year in MDM fees. We were paying around $3.00 a device with our previous MDM and our average with Meraki is about $1.88 per device. That while providing far more functionality than our previous provider.
Rippling has a positive impact on my clients. The feedback I receive is that they are very happy with Rippling and are very glad they made the switch from their previous ben admin/payroll vendor to Rippling.
