It's helpful for top of marketing funnel writing that we can sometimes lose sight of because we are so ingrained in the product day to day. Contently is also helpful for long written pieces and ebooks that will take a significant amount of employee time to put together. I avoid using Contently for mid to bottom funnel marketing writing because my team will often have greater insight into the product function or use-case or product release, making them more adroit to the tone of the written piece and able to produce the content quickly.

If your brand is looking for understanding competitors and normalizing data across disparate follower counts/footprint size, Trackmaven is great. Users need to understand the power of Boolean logic. TrackMaven needs dedicated users and time spent in building reports in order to understand how to use it.

It provides a good structure re timelines ie it's really clear how long you have to work on any given assignment, once accepted. You also receive handy reminder emails that your deadline is approaching in xx hours for instance.
It's good for being able to access the brief and any ancillary notes/reports all in one location rather than have to deal with multiple emails and downloads from other sources. It's a bit like a one-stop shop for a journalist's brief/commissions.
The set up for uploading content is well organised and helps in the planning stage for articles. The various sections required help ensure you stick tightly to the given brief.

Content Feed - functionality rests with third party integration, would like to see this data updated more often
ROI Calculations - would love to be able to input metrics for ROI and see it calculated across KPI charts and Funnel Analysis
Software Integrations - would love to see a TrackMaven app integration with Hootsuite, our SMMS system, in order to create truly comprehensive and granular analytical reports on social media efforts across all verticals
I'm giving them a 10, but honestly, I've never reached out to them. I do see them putting out regular content on social media, so they might be responsive to questions there as well as regular customer support. In their posts and communication, they do seem to value their community, so hopefully, they have good customer support. And I've seen them asking for pitches from their community to publish well-paid articles during this stressful coronavirus time, and I really appreciate that.

As previously mentioned, where I think Contently does well is by giving you an online portfolio, additional resources like a blog for learning, and a rates database for publications.

Account Analytics - the account overview we receive in TrackMaven of our own social media accounts is duplicative of what we already get through other software
Funnel Analysis - If we can better see which efforts are paying off with leads, at a granular level, we can use our social spend budget more wisely
