Deltek Vision (legacy product) vs. Hitask vs. SAP Cloud ERP

It is very well suited for Project Accounting - we have thousands of Project codes in the system. I wish it were easier to make changes to data already entered. You have to jump through hoops to make any changes or corrections and timing is everything.

The reason why I use Hitask are, first, because it makes my work easier, makes it less tedious and more dynamic, second, with the use of this software I attract more clients, and third, the results I achieve with this software are very efficient. True results that materialize the company's production. On the other hand, our customer flow is increasing, and with it, the company's production. It is very easy to handle, I can make use of social networks to obtain more clients and sales.

SAP Cloud ERP reduces dependency on multiple systems and ensures improved efficiency in enterprise resource planning. Real-time reporting capabilities and scalability of the product. Use of the software ensures compliance and allows smooth integration with other systems. The software allows customization to accommodate users' uniqueness and has very convenient customer support services. The only major challenge with the software is limited configuration.

• Deltek is a very integrated system for accounting purposes. It stores documents as support for postings (e.g. AP invoices) so you can easily access the source information.
• Time tracking for our consultants is a must and Deltek has a good platform for tracking time and for accounting for time.
• Deltek has the ability to run almost any kind of report that you could possibly think of! There are fields for almost everything and if there aren't specific fields you can add them.

• Deltek Vision's use of the desktop browser interfaces could use some major upgrades. It's not very user-friendly. When a field is left blank it would prevent the user from saving the timesheet but would not clearly inform the user where the error has occurred.
• Deltek Vision should provide a simple method to print summaries like have its own built-in pdf export program instead of relying on a 3rd party program like Adobe.

• Many functions are paid, these functions are very important in the workplace.

• The product is expensive compared to its competitors. Proper training is also a requirement before implementation, which is an additional cost.
• SAP S 4HANA Cloud lags due to a high volume of work and data.
• The user interface of the software is very complex and not easy to explore, especially for beginners.

The cost of SAP as an ERP is quite high and the switching costs associated with ERP systems are even higher. That being said moving from one ERP to another only happens once in a great while for large organizations. Those switching costs include retraining, IT hardware requirements, outside consultants and more

It's on the verge of being awesome. Right now it's a matter of money -- if you have the money to hire consultants round the clock, yeah this is awesome.

The support system I find great as whenever I run into problems they rectify them quickly as possible they never reacted late the support is just up to the mark for me. They provide many solutions to the problems I faced the [technical] team support is always amazing they [listen] to mean work accordingly.

implementation. The cloud version requires a deeper understanding of the
different capabilities of the local systems (hardware) and the connection
towards your local IT team. We found several problems on our systems that we
couldn't foresee before the implementation and roll out.

We have used Deltek Vision and previous versions (names) of the product since the early 1990's. We are engaged in the system and are committed to the continued use of the product. I have long supported the value added to our company and benefits realized by our users.

ClickUp was very difficult to use, I don't see all its functions necessary, I don't understand some tools and its interface is very confusing. I just preferred Hitask because it gave me immediate results, it is easy to use, and it organizes you and helps you grow your business.

The platform utilizes advanced predictive analytics to anticipate operational bottlenecks and put them out of commission before the problems become larger. We can proactively develop effective strategies that help keep service quality in the face of unexpected changes in the market, or external disruptions, by continuously analyzing historical performance data as well as elements of the current market

• We went from using a DOS-based accounting system that all the management had to go to Accounting for a weekly printout of status reports, and there wasn't much visibility into the network. Deltek Vision gave our PMs and management information at their fingertips, without having to wait on someone else to get the info.
• A lot of quality control was handled outside of an electronic system through Microsoft Excel forms. With Deltek Vision's user-defined functions, we were able to bring those functions into a system that could then be reported on, send automatic reminders, and create dashboards. This has been hugely beneficial in not losing sight of action items etc.
