Demio vs. ThunderTix

If you're looking to add webinars into your content, sales, or marketing strategy Demio is a great tool to make that happen. The interface is clean and simple, easy to use, and offers plenty of features to make your webinar experience unique to your business, with a more personalized experience. Demio makes it easy to share your expertise, get in front of your customers in large numbers, and develop your brand through multimedia and video content. From live to automated webinars, you have options to control the content and create the webinar you want while operating in a tool that was specifically made for webinars. You can even redirect your attendees to a particular URL after the webinar ends if you have a special offer or promotion for your registrants.

The capability to check in customers using a simple phone app allows offloading a lot of box office tasks to unskilled ushers and volunteers. It's just circumspect for all our ticketing needs.

• Creating an automated webinar series option
• Ability to combine live and automated webinars within a series

• For the money, I honestly don't have a single critique. Some of the larger companies offer a few more features, but we believe that most of those bells and whistles are not worth a significant increase in price.
• Our venue is a 160 seat venue. Thundertix is ideal for this. I do not know how Thundertix would translate to a 15,000 venue. It is not what we deal with. We are involved in some higher ticket events, but those are all General Admission so I do not have to deal with 15,000 reserved seats.

We have been with them for over a decade and have no interest in leaving.

Overall it is a good webinar platform. Others may have more options but they are way more expensive.

It's straightforward and, for the most part, easy to use and navigate. When there is an issue or problem that arises, support is usually very helpful in navigating us in the right direction. It keeps everything in order and on track, and is easy to use when trying to track down a client or previous purchases, which is important to our company

I love the chat support team at Demio. They're timely. They're thorough. They're polite. They even send funny gifs and emojis. For more serious or complicated questions/issues, I have been invited into a personal Demio webinar with a technical specialist who walked me through exactly how to achieve what I was looking to do and explained everything clearly. Demio's support team is fantastic.

They are quick to respond to both calls and email. They also have a robust online set of documentation and tools that offer the possibility of finding your own answer. But, even if you don't use it, ThunderTix never asks the "did you check our online resources" questions. They never complain about emails or calls. They are there to help and do a fantastic job!

It was an easy transition that took less than a month from planning to implementation

Zoom is a powerful tool for video communications. With the explosion of video meetings since March of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, webinars that take place on Zoom have an almost Pavlovian response as many folks have a subconscious response or feeling towards the Zoom interface, as they feel like they're in a meeting rather than at a webinar or digital event. Demio is also a true webinar solution, rather than a video communication platform that has been 'converted' into a webinar solution. Demio has features and capabilities that other platforms lack, and the interface is a fresh experience with no preconceived notions.

AudienceView has some of the oldest and least efficient user interfaces I have ever seen. Theres 5 different websites for the same account to access different things that are all interlinked and need to be accessed together. Ticket Spice charges a higher per ticket cost for most ticket price ranges. ThunderTix is a flat rate while ticket spice is a percentage.

• In my case it is neutral as I don't use this platform for income generation

• It has greatly increased online sales
• We are break even but with only 1 event ran so far
• It has made teaching box office sellers easy
