They all have similar functions, but I decided on DNSimple because of its prices and the fact that it does not have your domain "kidnapped", since you can have your domain at any time to move it to another provider. It also offers very personalized support to customers and …
I selected them 10 years ago so decided it must be easier to stick with them. Boy was I wrong. I think Cloudways blows them out of the water. Don't use InMotion Hosting or be warned. You get what you pay for. In my opinion, their support is lacking and they just want to bill …
inMotion shared hosting has not been as reliable as HostGator due to the aforementioned I/O limitations. inMotion VPS hosting is much more affordable than HostGator. I've found inMotion customer support to be much more reliable and responsive than HostGator at every level. …
InMotion is great if you're looking for a quick dedicated hosting solution for your needs. It's great in terms of having fixed costs for your hosting needs. However it hits a ceiling once you grow past a certain point. That's where solutions like AWS and Azure are much better …
As part of my search for a solid re-seller friendly hosting company, I also seriously considered Siteground. Inmotion Hosting provided a better pricing model, so I went with Inmotion. In the following years, I came across Cloud Access through Joomla's launch program. Their …
When you have several DNS domains contracted with different domain providers, you must manage each domain with its corresponding provider. With the DNSimple portal we can bring together all domains in one service and manage them from its portal. In this way we can register the domains with the providers that offer us the best price at all times but we will always manage all the domains from the same portal.
For VPS hosting, they're the only host I use or would recommend. They have a budget friendly approach and the resources advertised are accurate. I was disappointed (and unfortunately surprised) to see the I/O limitations of 1MB/s imposed on their shared reseller hosting. It's not advertised but really does cripple shared reseller hosting as nearly any activity on the site immediately starts affecting performance.
Their team was always responsive, helpful and eager to support us whenever we needed their help. Additionally, they followed up each time they supported us to see if the applied fixes to our problems satisfactorily resolved our issues. In all, their support was top notch.
They all have similar functions, but I decided on DNSimple because of its prices and the fact that it does not have your domain "kidnapped", since you can have your domain at any time to move it to another provider. It also offers very personalized support to customers and tries to solve any problems that arise.
As part of my search for a solid re-seller friendly hosting company, I also seriously considered Siteground. Inmotion Hosting provided a better pricing model, so I went with Inmotion. In the following years, I came across Cloud Access through Joomla's launch program. Their website management tool was awesome, and I recommend individual Joomla users check them out if they want to launch with this awesome CMS. I've yet to experience their customer service, so I'm not sure how it fares.
