Web Content Management
Comparison of Web Content Management features of Product A and Product B
Wanted to create a website quickly and get it running within a week's time. The step-by-step guide on installing Elementor and creating the basic webpage was easy and time-efficient. Some of the advanced features can be time-consuming, but they are definitely worth it once you start creating professional sites. It fits in from basic to advanced sites; I don't think there could be any scenarios where it can be inappropriate.
OpenText TeamSite is well-suited to large, enterprise-wide implementations where customization, content governance, and dynamic content distribution is needed or prioritized. It is probably not ideal for smaller sites with simple architecture and few resources to manage custom implementation.
TemplateToaster has the best features which include: BOOTSTRAP 3 support, W3C compliance, all devices and all browsers compatibility, clean and concise code generation, and extensive designing options. A big pack of sample templates comes free with software installation, and all the designing options have been provided as per the latest web design trends. Templates made in TemplateToaster make clients say, “wow, it’s amazing”. TemplateToaster is a designing tool as well as a development tool. In short words, it provides a GUI for designing templates, after the accomplishment of designing, the template can be exported into a fully-fledged web template, which is ready to use as a website design.
Advanced designing features and using these advanced features very easily e.g. Bootstrap 3 support that makes flawless responsive templates.
Encapsulated all the major designing trends with respect to particular CMS.
Optimized code is produced for every theme/template as such the coding standards are perfectly followed by this software.
All WordPress themes made with this software pass the Theme Check test.
Because of W3C compliance it ensures consistency of websites over the web.
HTML5 and CSS3 also ensure better look of designs on small screens.
Apart from making web templates, one can make full fledged websites too. TemplateToaster allows making static websites with YouTube video inclusion. It has inbuilt FTP, so that user can easily move its website to the server.
An amazing and exclusive feature it provides is the option to draw custom widget/module/ block area.
1. Very intuitive user interface with very well organized options for basic and advanced design features 2. Integrates very well with wordpress and a variety of plugins 3. Vast collection of Elementor themes available in the market for the small to mid sized businesses who would still prefer desired internal control over tactical/relatively less complex website changes and thus reduce dependency /Expensive annual web design contracts
Overall, it's a solid package with the potential to offer much functionality with appropriate resources applied. There are a few issues with the authoring interface that OpenText should address before its a top shelf authoring experience.
There support is slow and at times can be frustrating and this is why many prefer to air out their frustrations within the Facebook group community. I tend to give up as when I'm working on something and something goes wrong I need the help straight away. I do not have the patience to wait anymore.
Our technical resources engage with OpenText TeamSite so I don't have direct experience. However, critical issues that we need help with seem to get the attention they deserve without issue. However, training and user resources for business owner roles are a bit lacking and some annoying issues with the authoring interface should be addressed sooner.
The business team has to stick to its core competencies - Our key turning point occured when we delegated webpage design challenges to a tech. firm with specific mandates (including a certain degree of internal control). Once the initial go-live was completed, the agency trained us on internalizing ad-hoc and tactical change work
Elementor is a bit of a different platform than, say, easyTithe, Robly, and Apptivo, but it is comparable to Shopify. I feel like Elementor and WooCommerce are a lot easier to use than Shopify, and it doesn't come with such high fees. For our business, it was no choice! Elementor fits great for our needs!
It offers more content editing features at a relatively low cost thus overall deployment is lower in cost. It has great customer support who are always there to support and answer to our needs thus making the process of deployment seamless at every stage and offering training for working with their product.
Elementor has made it possible for our non-profit to stand out in the non-profit space in which we operate. Our website was highly flexible and looked great, which provided confidence to our donors.
Elementor has never been a weak spot in the security of our website. We've had several attempted attacks against our website and yet everything was remained locked down.
We have only used the free version of Elementor, so it has kept our costs low and allowed us to have a professional looking website, but being able to put more money towards our charitable cause rather than IT.
We integrated with google analytics, now we have the proper comprehension of our audience data reception and behaviors - we've greatly improved on personalized marketing.
Quick publication of content across the main digital channels.
We run our digital campaigns swiftly.
We've maintained our brand consistency for three years.
It helps in finishing my projects ahead of time, hence I can finish more projects in less time. In other words, it helps in increasing my efficiency, which brings monetary benefits to me.
