EPM Live vs. Nifty

I think EPM Live might be the right solution for a much smaller company, who does mainly business to business material sales. As a software company with a ramped subscription model and heavy use of Salesforce, it was not well suited to our business.

I've found myself recommending Nifty to other business owners as well as for personal use. I've personally found it to be invaluable when it comes to:

• Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly recurring tasks
• Creating templates for company processes such as new product creation, marketing strategy, on-boarding, quarterly goals, content management
• Having forms zapped into a new task from multiple locations ensuring they're never overlooked
• Having clear milestones and timelines for projects
• Communicating on projects, tasks, and just in general
• Assigning different components of projects to different people
• Creating prior requirements that must be completed before completing the task

• Cost and Resource management features more than paid for the software
• Social Collaboration tools improve communication between departments

• An overview of project timelines and milestones.
• One-on-one or group conversations.
• Tracking the status of projects and tasks.

• This is a solid product. I do not have any suggested changes based on our experience. Cannot understand why there are any negative reviews here. The reviewer(s) must not have given the product a fair chance.

• Time Expense could be improved since we cannot edit the previous/past time logs entered.
• Lacks expense management and Purchase order management functionality
• Newest product updates are not always stable and I had to reach Nifty's support team a couple of times in the past to fix the issues with new updates e.g. our document management and meeting integrations had to be re-authorized

The product is just not fitting our needs so we are looking at other alternatives. The system has gone down 3 times in the last 6 months and was down for at least half a day, timesheets have duplicate tasks, and it takes too long to save and submit. When trying to process updates it randomly changes our dates so we have to go back and fix them, sometimes tasks are lost and the system is just very confusing and hard to manipulate

EPM was easier to use, with better and simpler UI. The product was also a great combination of price and functionality compared to other tools

There's no comparison. Nifty does what all of these do all in one place (with the exception of Slack's community aspect with hashtagging - not sure if Nifty can do this, never tried) Nifty even has the ability to import directly from many other platforms - I've personally imported projects from Trello and Asana, saving tons of time in migration.
