Payment Gateways
Comparison of Payment Gateways features of Product A and Product B
Many of our international students studying at our institution are financially supported by their parents in their homeland. In other words, they rely on their families for payment of their class fees. So, Flywire makes international payments convenient by making payment by visiting our college website and finding the Flywire payment option. Some prefer this method over credit card payments or by wiring money to the student's bank account in the U.S., which creates a whole additional step in making payments.
According to my experience, it is best for all types of businesses. You can integrate with your blog, and website easily in some simple steps. You can accept payments through payment pages, and links where you can set expiry dates. When a customer finds various payment methods, he/she will use your services again and again, which will grow your business. It automatically records payments, and in case of payment failures, you can set up an auto refund without any hassle. But when it comes to customer support, their response time is long, and they mostly create tickets via live chat. You can set instant settlement, but you have to pay an extra fee for that.
For a small business looking to expand internationally, transferwise offers lower admin fee and no hidden fee which is very important. It also remove the hassle and headache of setting up accounts with the local banks. Other than the low fees, the best part is we can use transferwise safely with a peace of mind as it is being regulated by the MAS. Lastly, any small business can set up their transferwise account within minutes which is very convenient
For large money transfers, the tax is a bit expensive so it would be nice if that was adjusted or if there was some economy of scale.
Ability to schedule recurring transfers could be useful.
Be able to transfer money by using a mobile phone number, like with Mobile Pay or Bizum, when the sender and receiver of the money are in different countries.
PandaDoc, DocuSign. Honestly they all seem to work for what we were looking for, but Sertifi was a good price and an easy implementation, our use case was probably too basic to really find holes in any of the products in the space because they all seemed to be able to handle the basics that we needed.
Easy to set up, and integration happens with simple steps. Various payment options. Easy to export reports. Instant payment notification and updates on dashboard. Useful for individuals, SMEs, and companies. Adding creative features from time to time for more improvement. The support team is responsive among other tools like Paytm, Google Pay, and Stripe. Amazon Pay is best when it comes to charges, but it has missing payment methods of Paylater apps, EMI apps. If it reduces its flat 2% charge, then it will trend at top.
We considered PayPal payment, ACH bank transfer, and simply mailing a check. TransferWise's fees were much lower than PayPal and our bank. Postage might have been less than TransferWise's fee, but payment could have taken more than a week rather than hours (or days in the case of a new payee).
Great feedback from end clients - prior to Sertifi, we were manually creating PDFs and documents as well as mailing them for signature. This new process has increased our return time incredibly!
Prior to Salesforce, potential recipients were sending emails in as requests that were being tracked in an Excel spreadsheet. Now we have the process automated where they can submit everything online, a document get auto-generated and auto-sent out 10 days later. We've saved SO much time because of this newfound efficiency!
