Though Mapbox is cheaper than Google Maps API Google map is more accurate, has a good database, and has more maps in it. It has excellent language support and a better view than Mapbox. One can personalize Google Maps more than we can do in Mapbox. Lastly, Google Map API is …
Mapbox provides many more services, like the Navigation SDK, Vision SDK (currently in beta), and Styles Gallery that allows companies to create a much more design-friendly frontend for a very low cost. Mapbox has also put a lot more resources into their search-related APIs to …
There are not a lot of direct competitors in the Mapbox space except for really Google Maps/Earth. There are definitely pros and cons between the two, but overall I would say that Mapbox provides a finer level of control and really allows to create as you want without any major …
I feel like our use case scenario is excellent for any company that would like to see more accountability from their sales or service teams. Geopointe's ability to force a Geocheckin when visiting specific Salesforce data is exactly what most companies need. The ROI for combining Salesforce and Geopointe is exponential for any business looking to grow and maintain a good customer relationship.
It is most suited for someone who has a physical office, particularly a retail store which helps them to promote the business locally. I would suggest businessmen should use this tool for promoting their business in a more effective way. It is of least important if you are promoting your business digitally and don't have a physical location.
For services that require maps and basic geo-functionality in production, Mapbox is one of the greatest choices out there. They're free, provide much more refined/modern productions compared to Google maps, and have very good support on different platforms. For services that require higher-computation products, like matrix routing, optimization, etc..., the prices can get quite high very quickly, and you should consider moving those services to an on-premise server at that point.
I like the way that we can utilize the registration and look at an area not exclusively to guarantee that our reps are at an office and working yet if something somehow managed to happen we would have a thought of where they are found.
It is an incredible apparatus and resource for our organization for using time effectively.
My number one moment was a couple of years prior when one of the top-performing salesmen considered it the best deals device he had found in his 20 years of selling.
I've found using shapes based on rather weighty data can take some times. Looking for ways to help you optimise in terms of speed and displaying data would be appreciated.
A bit more clarity on what you can and cannot do with a license. There are some functions that you get a scattering of capabilities on (assignments) which you can find that you'll need to pay more for to really unlock.
Google Maps API is easy to use. Map visibility is good and accurate. Easy to search routes, distance, and travel time based on actual address to address locations or when quoting a zip code to zip code rate. The user interface is friendly and make usage easy and quick to obtain all the information I need to properly quote and plan my driver's routes.
It is a good tool to use. We can perform various customisations; I always end up exploring and finding a new feature that can be used in my work somewhere. And one good thing is that is actually quite reasonable in terms of cost, with the free tier being quite adequate
It does everything I need it to do and hasn't let me down yet. It has been a lifesaver for my roofing accounts. Most of my clients for the roofing belong to an Amish community with no computers and so forth. So being able to search the maps and look at the rooftops is imperative for those campaigns.
By utilizing this instrument I am effectively handling my information as it upholds the CVS records and it is simple for me to import such documents as a result of the Geopointe Maps.
Google MAP API is one of the prominent ones as compared to others. In the selection process also we are [complete] with the API provider by Google MAP as it is quite stable. No doubt it is one of the best methods to implement or integrate as compared to any others which is available in the competition.
One feature that made me go in favor of Mapbox was its stellar documentation. Google Maps and Bing Maps are the other alternatives I considered, but the learning curve with both of them is steeper than it is with Mapbox. Also, Mapbox Studio gives newbies a very simple, clean and easy to use environment to make and store maps online
Geopointe has provided an exponential ROI in terms of customer retention, and conversion of quotes to orders. This is a difficult metric to calculate but it is evident.
Geopointe has provided a substantial positive impact in terms of employee turnover in our outside sales role. Prior to using Salesforce and Geopointe our sales team in many cases was providing false data or copied data from the past. Geopointe's geo-checkin feature eliminates that. We have customized our Outside Sales Agreement to adapt the obligation of the outside sales person, to account for Salesforce and Geopointe and our new expectations.
Mapbox is the only service that has all the products we need to release our product to the market. Without Mapbox, we would've spent far more time integrating multiple different map/geo services like Mapbox and HERE maps together.
Mapbox was sometimes expensive in the testing period, and we would've definitely moved some of the services on-premise to save money if we had the time.
Mapbox has functionality for traffic-aware routing in many countries, as well as matrix-structured routing data, which is what enables our service to function. Having all of this integrated within an API allows us to easily scale our service to multiple different cities/countries in a matter of days.
