Likelihood to Recommend Well suited for Big organizations where recruitment is a daily task. Understanding of Greenhouse workings is simple and it is not difficult to train people who use it for first time. Greenhouse is less appropriate if you are looking for sharing offer letters or doing employee onboarding. Did not had a great experience in doing that
Read full review I always recommend this product to companies of all sizes who are looking for a reliable way to add virtual interviewing to their assessment strategy. There are 50+ vendors in this space right now but none of them have been around as long as InterviewStream. Their product is especially good for high volume scenarios but we've used it for all levels from executives down to hourly employees. We even used it internally for succession planning interviews and internal mobility
Read full review Pros Customization of interview plans, questions, interviewer roles for multiple positions Manages efficient and timely candidate, hiring manager, and interviewer communication Integrates with other tools needed in the hiring process such as sourcing tools and onboarding systems Provides analytics and reporting to allow for data insights and process improvements Provides an Onboarding feature that makes the hiring cycle seamless from first interview to hire date Read full review Simple interface. It's not a flashy product with claims of artificial intelligence or machine learning, etc. It just gets the job done for a fair price. Reliable. While we have had some minor issues from time-to-time with live interviews, the recorded interviews have worked fine in several countries around the world. Support. Our customer success person was always available and helpful. Read full review Cons Greenhouse Security is simple, but not that granular. For example, everytime new recruiter joins, we have to give them access manually one by one. There is no one click or an easy way to auto assign security unlike other systems that we use such as Workday. Greenhouse reporting is very lacking. Even though we are on the highest tier, we cannot extract data through this delivered feature. For example, scorecard custom questions. We have to do this through SQL. Greenhouse Audit Log is also lacking. It is not useful at all. We cannot even see what job info changed and who changed it even though we are on the highest tier now. Read full review Reporting could be better. Would love to see more stats around where our users are dropping off, invited vs. completed metrics and ROI numbers as well. A better database of technical interview questions. Read full review Likelihood to Renew we are gaining more by in from our hiring managers and candidates seem to like the ease of getting us interview times etc
Read full review Usability Greenhouse's user-friendly interface, efficient workflows, and integration capabilities with other HR tools make it a powerful tool for our company, helping us streamline our hiring and onboarding processes. With its customizable workflow and intuitive design, Greenhouse allows us to create a hiring process that suits their specific needs and requirements, without the need for extensive coding or technical expertise. Moreover, Greenhouse's integration capabilities with other HR tools enable us to centralise our hiring and onboarding data, making it easier to access and analyse applicant information, and reducing the risk of data loss or errors.
Read full review Support Rating I have never needed to call Greenhouse for support. I am not the primary account holder, nor do I use Greenhouse enough to merit calling support. I delegate that responsibility to the Recruiting team. They have never mentioned any experience with Greenhouse technical support, either bad or good. I would assume that they would tell me if the support was poor.
Read full review Implementation Rating I think we could have used more delivered functionality and less customized which now results in more maintenance
Read full review Alternatives Considered Tools appears very light to use. It does not take forever to load. the interface is very simple but capable, unlike many ATS's. The tools is Simple yet loaded with very useful functionalities that save a lot of time and expedites the processes. For different stakeholders, the tools works accordingly.
Read full review We looked at several video interview companies when we made a purchase decision. With the exception of
HireVue , they're all about the same. We just went with InterviewStream because they had the most experience in the industry and their pricing was fair.
HireVue is a premium product who tries to distance themselves from the video interview space by claiming that they are a collaboration/training tool or an AI assessment tool. They're wayyyy overpriced for what they offer if you just want video interviewing. And their sales process is high pressure and a little bit slimy to be honest. If you need a proven tool that has been around, InterviewStream is good.
Read full review Return on Investment Streamlined the hiring process and new hire time to value Increased satisfaction for hiring managers and sales account managers Allowed us to gain access to a bigger and more targeted talent pool Saved us time and helped us avoid things falling by the wayside by keeping things in one place and sending automated alerts Read full review We took a 7 step interview process in one of our high volume areas down to 3 steps. This saved 2 weeks in time to hire and increased our conversion rate with top candidates by 20% (presumably because we moved faster). We saved $100,000 minimum in travel expenses in the first year. We don't know the exact amount because much of these costs are hidden in the business, but we could track at least $100k in hard costs. Negatively, I'd say we lost a little bit of street credibility on sites like glassdoor where people would vent that they didn't like recorded video interviews. Over time that feedback dwindled as this strategy has been adopted by more companies. Read full review ScreenShots
