Users include managers, owners, technicians, and supervisors. Maintenance requesters are not users. Price is also determined by required features. I find that Hippo [CMMS] is really well suited for any scenario. Most CMMS are geared toward manufacturing or industrial use, Hippo [CMMS] works as well for a school or church as it would for a factory. The ease of use for the requestor makes it an ideal platform for any institution.

MaintainX would work best for any organization that has work orders with multiple steps to complete (especially for repeated work orders) and multiple employees to manage. It would also be especially good for businesses where the work schedule is variable or if the same steps need to be completed regularly

  • Completed work order reporting can be improved. It seems harder than it should be to get the data I need.
  • I would like to streamline the work order closing procedure. I feel like it takes longer than it should to open various screens and add labor, mark tasks complete, change status, etc. It is a minor inconvenience, but just waiting a few seconds opening up a new window is time-consuming with many WO at a time.
  • Labor tracking and reporting could be improved.

  • Missing some functions, but the team is always on top of innovation so if I don't see it today, it may be there tomorrow.
  • Wish there was a simpler way for operators to complete inspections rather than having to create work requests.
  • Pricing is confusing and the way that they have their billing set up is strange.

From the initial trial period to now using the system in full, the system was easy to navigate from the very start. The teaching videos within the system are excellent and really help with how to use the system effectively

I've used Hippo for several years now. I'm sure other programs have been developed since I did my comparison testing. But Hippo has always done everything we needed it to do. It's very reliable. My guys don't doubt whether or not it's doing its job. The calendar view, ease of use and floor mapping set this program apart from others.

Ease of end-user to put in a task that they would like to have completed. Hippo is really easy to use and to complete tasks. If a person putting in a task includes their email or phone number we can get ahold of them to ask and questions and it lets them know progress of their task.

MaintainX is by far a lot easier to navigate around in. Creating procedures and work orders is much easier that now even our maintenance techs are creating these items with minimal training involved. Generating reports that are meaningful became a whole lot easier due to drop downs and built in filters.

  • It has helped not only my team, but the management of our company to see what we do and how we are doing maintenance.
  • Our inventory is a lot to work on, but MaintainX has changed the way we used to inventory and makes it easier for the team to check out or put away parts.
  • Having QR codes around our building for requesters and maintenance to scan has helped out when trying to decipher where the problem is.
