The best CRM out there. Easy to use, very intuitive. Perfect for someone that doesn't know anything about coding. I love that everything is drag and drop. I can't think of a scenario where HubSpot wouldn't be a good option for any company (capability-wise). When it comes to cost, it can be extremely expensive for small/medium companies. The free/cheaper options are too limited for the small companies, so there aren't a lot of reasons to choose HubSpot when what they'll be receiving is basically nothing.

If you're looking for a system to help you address accounting that's not suited for marketing agency structures, this is the right tool. It is a bit cumbersome, but it has streamlined our reporting, billing, estimating, and tracking. As for project management, it's great that it integrates with the estimating and finances, but it's just not enjoyable to use. The interface is clunky. So if project management is your main criteria, I'd choose something else. We would never use it to collaborate with clients either because I'd be afraid of making them frustrated by the tool, so we use Basecamp to do that.

  • Ease of use in the beginning - Not a steep learning curve to start using it.
  • The free version surprisingly includes a lot of features.
  • It can grow with you as your company / client base grows.
  • Has increasingly improved its available integrations with other software.
  • Surprisingly a lot of great features that integrate with Gmail (what our company uses). Other CRM software are more geared towards Outlook.

  • The Platinum version has a particularly robust time tracking system, down to a 'timer' function that can be critical for an agency like mine where you want to be accountable for billing a client arruately
  • The ability to make projects available only to those who are permitted to assign their time to it has apparently been very helpful during our revenue reconciliation meetings where time incurred is reviewed against scope
  • The mobile app, while I still feel needs some work, is pretty handy for a quick calendar check if I'm in a client meeting and cannot utilize my browser to get information

  • I wish that contact details could be edited from the main contact page (in more of a spreadsheet style), rather than having to individually click into each contact or preview a contact to change data
  • A/B testing for emails or steps within sequences would be helpful
  • Currently, the details of each step in a sequence can only be viewed if you click "edit", but if would be nice to be able to read the emails that are contained within a sequence without having to go into edit mode.

  • WMJ's interface is dated. Despite an html5 driven "sheets"-based interface, it takes a lot of time and effort to manage the interface, which could be streamlined considerably. On a UX/UI scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, WMJ would earn a 6 from me.
  • Despite the amount of documentation available, there is a distinct lack of clarity in that documentation, and it doesn't fully cover everything you would expect. Branching thoughts, for instance, are not addressed. Additionally, because there are two editions of the software online, there are two support sites that aren't sequestered. So information from both commingles, creating confusion.
  • Support is available on an email and phone basis. They strongly encourage you to use email, however, and they are resistant to phone time. This is likely because the support staff is limited in number, but has a great depth of knowledge. If you want immediate phone support, however, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. You are placed in a queue and the odds of same-day help are low. For email, the response is usually within an hour, but when you are stuck with a configuration issue, or need to generate a report and don't know how to do something, waiting is not optimal. That said, the support team is TERRIFIC.

Because it's integrated with HubSpot marketing platform, which is indispensable, and works simply and seamlessly with the marketing platform. The CRM is intuitive, never a time burden, and makes doing business development work a whole lot easier and enjoyable. I think at this point it's safe and fair to say we would be somewhat lost without the CRM.

HubSpot has a very good customer support, one can chat in real time by phone or text, or send an email. I have not had to use their support very much, but when I have they have been very professional and quick to respond to address my needs and concerns.

HubSpot CRM is much more user-friendly and intuitive than Salesforce. The reporting feature is prominently featured vs. having to go to a separate tab. The email integration with Gmail is much easier to be set up by the user vs relying on someone else internally to arrange. Metric tracking for sales management is also readily available and visible to the sales reps on a daily basis.

Workamajig

Workamajig was definitely a lot easier to keep track of projects, timesheets, and out of office calendars all in one. ClickUp and Zoho were good for project management but JIG definitely has more to offer and it's a little easier to clean. Keeping track of campaigns is much easier in JIG as it assigns project numbers and task numbers to each assignment.

  • Success with Initial Contact has gone up without question. We immediately get in touch with virtually every client we follow up with.
  • Average Meetings Booked has greatly increased thanks to the Meetings tool. I'm able to book meetings literally in my sleep.
  • Decreased Sales data entries have gone down significantly. Thanks to HubSpot, we simply spend way less time manually inputting things and more time selling.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Online Reviews are certainly way up. Nearly half of our online reviews are all from the last 18 months and I think HubSpot had a role in that positive customer response.
