Well suited for searching the database for qualified resources, not well suited for those posting jobs. That is especially true if the job posted has a broader appeal, or applies to many job seekers, since it will attract hundreds that you will not have time to review. We have found that 1 in 20 are even qualified and have the basic requirements for what we post
SimplyHired is an excellent solution for any business! It could be used as a single ATS system for small companies, and it could also be used for large companies in conjunction with their in hour ATS.
Although the sorting process is easy through SimplyHired when you check candidates to send a message, it un-checks them after the message is sent, so you have to go back through and re-check all applicants to move them. I'd like to have the candidates remain checked and highlighted after I send them a message.
It would be great to have messages sent out automatically once we move them into new categories.
Indeed does its job best in job postings, Sourcing resumes, and internal communication where our personal details can't be enclosed. Various filters help us source the particular resume.
I haven't had to use Customer Service much for Indeed.com but the few times I've had encounters they have been very nice and helpful. They ensure you are getting the most out of your money with the resources Indeed has to offer. You can speak to customer service over the phone or on a quick messenger setting on the website depending on what your style is or how easy you feel your question is.
I am a big fan of the services provided in SimplyHired. I have no reservations recommending this product to any HR department that is looking for new avenues to explore in attracting candidates.
We used and are still currently using other job boards. Some are free of charge, some are paid services. We do not want to stop using Indeed.com since it provides up with ability to post job postings for free. This is really appreciated. We do not want to disclose names of other services.
SimplyHired is almost neck in neck with ZipRecruiter, but overall it stands out in the number of applicants it obtains. I do think that trends come and go, and there could come a time when ZipRecruiter is the best place for applicants, but until we see a decline on SimplyHired, we don't plan to invest elsewhere.
Higher turnover in general for the positions we have hired for from Indeed which in some instances can hinder productivity. It is important to know that when using Indeed, you are getting volume/quantity and not necessarily top-performing employees.
It seems like the employees found on Indeed are constantly job hunting even when currently employed.
For our large-scale hiring, Indeed, all in all has had a positive impact as we are always able to fill the positions due to the large pool of resumes always on hand.
The job post-to-hire time is quite less which helps in effective time management and filling up the position in a timely manner.
The candidate search options, almost always gives us the best fit for the open position. Thus, we do not have to spend more time filling up the position. This eventually helps in significant cost savings as one need not have to pay anything to any consultant to hire resources.
