INBOX25
I think Inbox25 is a great fit for companies outgrowing lower-end, disconnected email marketing applications. Companies with a more formalized marketing organization that send a lot of emails (tens of thousands monthly or more) will be better served with a product like Inbox25 that is less complex, easier to use, and much more affordable (30% lower by our experience) from the larger marketing automation products on the market. Our company has 3 full-time marketing staff with over 100,000 contacts (with valid emails) that we target in various direct and drip email campaigns and Inbox25 fits our needs just fine. I suspect that we may outgrow the product eventually but I think it'll meet our needs just fine for many years to come.

monday marketer is a great tool for managing everything from the idea stage, to the production of content, to organizing goals and campaigns, all the way to collaborating and sharing with stakeholders and leadership. We used to work on multiple tabs in a worksheet, and monday.com changed the game. We're more organized than ever, and we can easily share what works/what doesn't with other team members around the globe!

  • One can easily create a Project work breakdown structure that helps us to understand the current status of the project.
  • Easily assigning users, customization is par excellence, and different types of data attachments are the coolest feature.
  • Automation, forms, and customized notifications are wonderful features that make our work easy.

Cons
INBOX25
  • Inbox25 is in a growth phase and has transformed their product pretty fast. With that comes an increased need to continually learn how to leverage new features.
  • Tutorials and product documentation exist but it is relatively minimal. They overcome this with personalized, one-on-one training that is recorded for future review using a project management platform.
  • Inbox25 has expanded beyond Sugar CRM to include Salesforce.com integration. I'm not sure if they plan to add integrations to other applications but they are positioned well for growth.

  • Importing Excel docs can sometimes be a struggle
  • Notifications are not consolidated. So if a teammate makes a new board and assigns me to a bunch of items, I get an individual notification of every single one
  • I like sub-items, but they aren’t always necessary so making them unremovable isn’t great

It is an easy platform to learn for new members joining the team. The useability of monday.com makes it easier to onboard stakeholders and team members, to make project management easier for everyone. Automation also makes common tasks easier by eliminating the need to focus on doing repetitive things over and over and over again.

Honestly, I haven't called monday's support, because, the few times that some help was needed, the area coordinator is in charge of looking for solutions.
But, if I have a reference from her, praising the support received, because in a few minutes or at most hours, everything is normal. It's amazing how fast and effective they are.

Monday marketer allows a much greater level of detail and functionality than Trello. You are able to automate tasks, create dashboards, have different workspaces, sync with Google Calendar, and much more. You can do far more using monday marketer than I have ever experienced with another project management tool. Basecamp is a good tool for communicating with clients, but monday marketer is much better for internal project management.

Return on Investment
INBOX25
  • We have successfully moved cold suspects to leads and leads to opportunities, and opportunities to customers with Inbox25. We are just now starting to realize more value given that we've only recently started using the more advanced drip marketing and lead scoring features.
  • When we used the pay-as-you-go version we were paying just pennies per email and remained CAN-Spam Act compliant. It was harder to quantify the ROI then but it was apparent that email marketing was working and moving prospects from one sales stage to another. It was also very useful for re-engaging prospects and promoting products and services to customers.
  • Our total investment in the advanced edition is less $30,000 annually and we expect the ROI to be less than one year. It could have been sooner if we'd have been more thoughtful in our initial implementation.

  • It has saved our team a lot of time. It allows our Creatives to quickly see what projects should be on their priority list, as well as where the other elements of each project are at.
  • The update feature allows our team to have focused communication regarding different tasks. It's easy to tag in team members and ask questions, provide links to finished assets, etc.
  • Before I joined the team, they were debating whether this software was the right choice and thinking about switching. When I joined the team, I really owned monday.com and got to learn the software. I figured out ways to make my team's boards more efficient and useful, which has in turn greatly increased the employee adoption of this software. There are now best practices and processes in place regarding this platform which has made it easier for everyone - we all want to keep monday.com now!
