LivePlan vs. Wingman (legacy product)

All businesses require solutions and tools for organization and control of expenses, spreadsheets were always the first option, but since the arrival of LivePlan, all work is easier and more automated. With LivePlan we have charts and graphs that are automatically created based on our data, this is a great time and money saver. LivePlan is a tool that has worked from day one and has met our expectations in creating the total budget.

Wingman would be well suited for any organisation with more than 5+ reps in their sales team. Recording all the demo calls will create a playbook which will help the reps learn from each other and also to ramp up new reps with how to conduct the demo and discovery calls

• It makes it easy and simple to plan and budget the business.
• It allows creating of accurate business forecasts.
• It has detailed yet easy to use and customize built-in templates to help you get along with business planning easily.
• It integrates and works perfectly well woth accounting tools like QuickBooks such that it is easy to import the accounting data.

• Filtering calls by keywords - saves you time so that you don't have to listen to entire calls.
• Creating game tapes - so that you can easily onboard new team members.
• Great support team (love for Sushma).
• Much cheaper than competitors.

• UX: It's beyond time for an overhaul, especially on mobile. It can make the app seem dated.
• The accounting software integration has been prone to break and need to be re-setup, though that seems to have improved.

• Searching for specific calls (you can scroll through the list, but that takes time)
• The dashboard isn't as user friendly as it could be, but a seasoned user can navigate it just fine
• The AI-driven insights aren't always accurate but are still very useful nonetheless

I think Wingman is one of the best software in their segment. Very few companies are cost-effective and offer similar solutions.

Super user friendly tool! There are some features that I think might be improved over time, like navigation assistance or tutorials, and quick tips, like how to ensure calls always get recorded, how to add Wingman to calls last-minute, or how to use their playlist feature Game Tapes, but those are nice to haves, not need to haves.

Wingman is always quick and thorough with their support and often offer to proactively connect on Zoom. I love that.

We did not really find a similar solution. All other solutions are focused on project management, [there's] nothing on generating a business plan. There is nothing on this level that helps people without any business experience write the plan. They have samples, instructions what to write where, how to prepare for pitching, and generate dashboards. Nothing in this market gets anywhere close to this solution.

Gong is expensive but it has a lot better AI/Intelligence feature compared to Wingman. Wingman definitely does the job, is cheap, and also support is pretty amazing and I personally like Shruti a lot in terms of what she is doing in this space. Also, Wingman is in an Indian company.

• It has made it easy to create sensible budgets and run our business within the proposed budgets to avoid overspending.
• It allows us to keenly follow up and keep track of how the business is performing thus getting to know on which ares we should improve.
• It helps us have accurate future insights of the position of our business thanks to its forecasting functionality.

• Training of new Sales representatives has gone from 1 month to 2 weeks using Wingman as part of the training tools.
• The transcripts have also helped us to decrease the number of disputes "Lost" on Stripe, by providing evidence needed to win the case.
