I wouldn't recommend Lua because they were recently acquired by another company and will be shutting down. It was unfortunate that we were only given 2 months notice right after signing up for another 1-year term.

My department handles online reviews. With 32 stores, we're getting, on average, about 50 reviews a day. Negative reviews need to be responded to within 24 hours. Sometimes additional information is needed from a particular store prior to replying. The review is held in the Reviews folder corresponding to its platform. Responses are tracked through email and added to the task. Once the review is complete, the task is marked complete. By tracking this way, we're able to run reports based on the review type/location as well as go back to locate the details should we need to at a later date. We also use Wrike to write our monthly newsletter. As details come in through the month, they're added to the task and once the articles are written, each subject is inserted into the newsletter program, and marked complete.
I feel like Wrike can be utilized in every aspect of business. I don't see where it would be less appropriate. However, it does take time to set up and convince employees to use the program in their day to day activities. People who are limited on time may struggle at first.

  • Wrike's customer service is topnotch! Their team responds within 24 hours and is always excited to teach me new and more efficient ways to benefit my team.
  • Wrike is constantly innovating. Their product team really does take customer feedback into account and rolls out updated tools with quick instructions for immediate use.
  • Wrike's Blueprints are my absolute favorite! I have been able to simplify so many workflows and projects by identifying and documenting repeatable sequences of tasks, saving me mental load and sleep! I love not waking up in the middle of the night because I forgot a task!
  • Wrike's Dashboards are a game-changer. I don't have to hunt through folders and projects to figure out what is expected of me from day to day - my dashboard tells me everything I need! Recently, I project managed the O'Keeffe's reopening to the public after closing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. My Reopening Dashboard gave me a quick status check on the many tasks the O'Keeffe's COVID-19 Taskforce was working on to get the Museum back open.

  • Notification timing: Unless we keep Wrike open and constantly check the inbox, it's easy to miss conversation on projects since the integration with Outlook results in a 1-2 hour delay in email notifications being sent.
  • Default Task Status Filters: This is a HUGE pain. The default filter for the tasks that show in a project hides any tasks marked complete. This default filter cannot be changed, and has to be manually overridden by the user every time. This means, for instance, when a designer is ready to start a design task and needs the approved copy, she has to un-filter the task list just to be able to access the completed copy task.
  • Assignee Switching: Minor gripe, but frequent. In list view, clicking on the assignee and choosing a different assignee from the resulting dropdown ADDS an assignee rather than switching the assignment to the new person. As a manager who frequently reassigns tasks to my team, having to go into the individual task view is a waste of time.

Wrike is a free resource for us currently, we moved off the subscription as the team had some adjustments. If we were to go back to a paid model or require more time reporting I'd have to look at alternatives such as Podio. I am the sole manager of Wrike currently internally, and would like to get more people on board to justify the cost

It takes some time for a user to use Wrike to its full potential. Once the user learns, it's easy to use Wrike and see its benefits. I love being able to create a task directly from an email in Outlook. I love the Chrome extension that keeps my to-do list front and center. There are a ton of options in Wrike, and once your company establishes how it will be used, it's a great add to your project management needs, intake request form needs, and more.

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

Wrike does a great job of provide a breadth of videos for learning their program. This includes a 'getting started' sett of videos along with a collection of more in depth videos to assist more experienced users. Combined with their excellent chat support learning wrike is easy and it includes easy access to best practices.

I think Wrike is easy to use... maybe not as easy as Basecamp, but easier than JIRA or Asana. I like the power it provides. Isn't as deep as JIRA, but more customization and power than Asana can provide. The collaboration is fantastic - again, still on the simple side - JIRA shines here, but powerful enough to get projects done across teams.

  • On an enterprise level, I thought Wrike was competitively priced, though on the higher end. I feel it was well worth the cost as it brought the team together, reduced missed deadlines and kept some activities from falling through the cracks. By having a detailed breakdown of scheduled projects and tasks, I could identify areas where we could add or remove activities.
  • Makes a powerful BI tool when combined with other reporting. After a year of tracking all our projects, we were able to export marketing campaign data and compare with sales data. It allowed use to see what seemed to work and what didn't.
