ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus vs. Zoho Vault

I think it's suited for any scenario, but mostly for people with a lot of remote users. It reduces the number of support requests as well that relates to forgotten passwords.

Zoho Vault password sharing capabilities has helped us a lot as currently I have around 80 passwords out of 40 are being used all the members of the team so sharing the password help us and saves our lot of time and energy. And at the same time password generation from zoho save good amount of time and energy and provides us the strong password.

• MFA for certain user groups allows standard users to work normally without additional effort
• Excellent reporting
• MFA for certain services such as terminal access greatly enhances security to these servers.

• Admin functions are straightforward/easy to add new users or remove old ones.
• The ability to organize logins is convenient, especially when you have hundreds.

• Assist with post-implementation reviews to ensure we configured everything correctly
• Better integration with mobile devices such as an app to change M365 passwords for our mobile-only users
• It would be great if password changes of mobile users updates the AD so these accounts don't reflect as dormant AD accounts.

• Zoho Vault is relatively new, so for those who are used to using apps like LastPass for personal use, there is a switching cost.

We only had to send out a one-pager with instructions for staff to register and staff found it very easy to use.

In our hybrid work environment and need for use of multiple SaaS applications and other digital platforms, password management is critical and Zoho Vault has been able to do it very successfully at an affordable price. It has helped us streamlining our collaboration and day to day task management in a secured enviroment.

Never really needed to use the customer support of Zoho Vault, but all other Zoho services have excellent support and excellent forums to participate in, and I don't assume Zoho Vault would have anything less

We have multiple products of ManageEngine in use, so it made logical sense to stick with them due to the integrations available with their other products, hence others weren't considered.

IT Glue combined all our needs as an MSP. Vault was great until we got out of using Zoho Help Desk. We were able to monitor server information and client documentation better with IT Glue. Vault is easy to use, but in the end wasn't what we needed. Vault is a great program, but if you're looking to have a much more detailed password documentation system then I'd suggest looking for something similar to IT Glue where everything is combined together. Vault is great for passwords and passwords only.

• Significantly reduced number of support calls for forgotten password, so less support services people required
• The ability to remotely change AD and M365 passwords saved a lot of time and costs of people travelling to offices to change passwords and we were able to reduce the password expiry time to be in line with best practice.
