OpenText Core Email Threat Protection vs. WealthBlock

I think that Webroot Email Security is good for small-medium sized businesses who are on a budget for email security. They actually have a great encryption system for outbound email, and so if you bundle those together then it puts everything in the same pane of glass and that is nice. Over the last few years this company was purchased by OpenText, and I have seen some improvements because of that, but this product is not innovating like other emails solutions based on new threats that are emerging. I would say if you have a relatively low volume of inbound email, then this solution would suffice.

Great for VC, PE, and RE firms. I-banks and brokers should use it, as well, to scale. Cost might be too high for startups or sporadic fundraisers who don't need an ongoing tool.

• Makes it easy for those receiving emails to create an account and retrieve the email.
• Peace of mind knowing emails are secure, and can be tracked.
• Monitoring inbound email threats is easy.
• Support has been very quick resolving or explaining support tickets I've created.

• Superior UI/UX. Our LPs and staff love it. Very intuitive.
• Well thought out and integrated features and designs. Truly a one-stop solution.
• Great customer service. Very responsive.
• Fast deployment of new features and enhancement.

• The admin interface seems a bit shabby. It's time for a refresher course.
• Being able to modify our own security word without having to contact Zix.
• Users may not enjoy needing to log in to access messages through the secure site.

• Compared to other LP portals, it is not cheap.
• As it's a new firm, time is needed to prove its performance consistency.
• Rapid release of new features and enhancement requires more training.

It did delivers exactly what is needed, what was promised, is cost effective, and is incredibly easy to use and manage.

It is much simpler to configure and operate in comparison to other anti-spam applications. Zix's customer usage is comparable to that of other spam filters on the market; but, in terms of convenience of use, Zix comes out on top. Daily delivery of logs is provided, and the user is not required to sign in order for an email to be sent.

AppRiver's support from our perspective replaces the Microsoft365 Support we typically would have to receive from Microsoft by ticket. Instead, AppRiver supports us by phone, live chat, or email. Being able to get a hold of someone quickly makes a huge difference, especially when an issue is urgent and we can't wait hours or days for a response from Microsoft.

Cost is competitive, but factoring in Office licensing really made sense for my organization. Cost is lower for more features - I was able to move to Zix and get the top of the line package, moving from a mid-tier product at a competitor. Workflows and process have improved, and the filter is more accurate than our previous filter

WealthBlock comes with its native CRM, dataroom, investor onboarding, etc. Compared to other individual tools, WealthBlock provides a seamless one-stop solution for all parties involved in the process.

• Protecting patient information
• Users have to complete an account setup in order to view the encrypted email in a portal. Other platforms just let you open the email without having to setup an account.
• Pretty easy to use if you don't make many customizations to it.
