Productfolio vs. UserVoice

This platform is a product managers dream! If you are meeting with your team a lot for brains storming sessions, this is a great tool as it has an ideas list (my favorite aspect of the platform) where you can write in any ideas you have then task them to certain topics and tag people in the task! You can also move these ideas over to a "to-do's" list and then a "in progress" and "completed" list respectively. This has greatly helped our team take our ideas from just an idea to actually fulfilling it! This may not be helpful if your focuses are only on one idea or topics but this does help you bring your project along with a timeline so you can complete your work in a timely manner!

UserVoice can be an affordable and powerful tool to start engaging customers and employees. It can help manage the entire feedback loop process. But your product management and development teams still need to do their jobs. Remember to have a response SLA in place and ownership for prioritizing and responding to the feedback.

• Easy to digest UI/UX which in turn makes it easy to train new teammates on how to use the platform.
• Provides excellent tools to understand your team's ideas and visions and make them actually happen!

• User interface is very simple. Learning the product and teaching the team how to use the product took hardly any time at all.
• Gives visibility into what others are logging. We are able to append 'votes' to certain ideas, rather than having to create an existing idea from scratch.
• Reporting. Tags allow to easily filter through ideas for roadmap planning.

• I would like to see more color coding options - this is minor but when we have many different projects/clients/tasks, it would help to have more variation for differentiation!
• Better price point may help this product get into more offices!
• Nothing else, this product is really great!

• Doesn't always catch obvious spam/we have to do a fair amount of blacklisting
• Doesn't have multiple language options
• No online/email tech support available. You have to call if you have an issue.

I just really liked UserVoice.

The day-to-day usability is good. More technical settings require a bit more effort.

Always very responsible and helpful when an issue happened. They eat their own cooking when it comes to using their products.

Have clear goals and owners established before you start using any tool like this. Very important to get accounts and rights setup so that there's no lag time in customer response once things go live. Make sure IT is involved if you plan to use the Single-Sign On (SSO) or any of the access control tools.

The similarity of Asana and Productfolio is task management but Productfolio exceeds it tenfolds as there are timeline trackers, to-do list organizers, ideas list, etc. The UI/UX is cleaner on Productfolio and easier to digest which is helpful when training new employees. I would highly recommend Productfolio over Asana!

I like the ease of integration into web and mobile apps for UserVoice. It's also a comprehensive bug reporting, user feedback, and knowledge base tool.

• My team has been able to complete assigned tasks 124% quicker when seeing a project timeline laid out for them.
• We increased our brainstorming idea output by 50% each time we meet as we have a dedicated space to create and assign ideas.
• Happiness has increased 100% by using this product as the team feels less unsure of what their tasks are now.

• Transparency: Now we can handle better communication of requests with customers and internal stakeholders.
