I stick by Sandler to this day, and would recommend all Sales Leaders adopt at least a little bit of Sandler training. Why? It has helped so much to win and close deals -for all reps, at any stage of their sales career. Costigan helps with cold calling, but Sandler assists with …
Chose Sandler Training
We haven't used much else that compares to Sandler. We use different tools to assist us with training reps. One tool we use now is Outreach Kaia. It lets us listened into conversations with clients and teach reps with out having to tap into the line right at that moment.

The Challenger Sale has also been reviewed as part of our sales process but can be too confrontational when used by junior\associate sales reps. This has been adopted by our senior sales team.

Previously we created SOP's in Google Drive that we used for employee training but they were cumbersome to navigate through and were also in danger of getting deleted. They were plain Word documents and were not interesting to read. Trainual is SO much easier for new employees …

  • This is our first time using anything like this!

I can't think of an industry that this wouldn't apply to. It's great for SMB, mid market and enterprise selling.

Trainual is well suited for new hires. They can be introduced to our processes and products before testing and trying themselves. Trainual provides for a less jarring experience for anyone new to our team. Every time someone new starts it is imperative that they complete all the training modules within Trainual before doing some of the work themselves. It definitely allows for a smoother transition to the team and work life

Cons
  • Sandler is very effective when there is in person training, aware this is difficult to do in a virtual world
  • Sandler could employ some additional prospecting techniques, like Costigan cold calling training
  • Sometimes the process is too rigid, and sales reps need to adjust style based on what the customer is specifically requesting (not 1 size fits all)

  • The layout for all subjects is very overwhelming, and I'd love to be able to sort into folders or buckets.
  • I'd also like to be able to see all steps within ALL subjects in one area and be able to reorganize those with a simple drag and drop, instead of having to copy and paste text to move from one subject to another.

During the entire sales process, the Trainual team was great to work with. After the sale, their onboard process was top notch as well and was very quick to answer any questions and actually were open to customizing the platform to meet our specific needs. They have been great this entire time.
