SPS Commerce vs. Xoom, a PayPal Service (personal use only)

The services they offer are easy to understand, they are available with suggestions and ideas for better ways, personalization is available to best suit your needs or the needs of your customers so that you can really shine and relieve the worries that come with growing pains. Xoom is best suited to send and receive money between two people who live in different countries, not only that we can also send money to our friends, colleagues, family members directly in their bank accounts. They have a great currency exchange functionality that directly converts our received money into our local currency, and deposits it into our bank account within a few minutes. The only drawback is that not many people know about it, it needs good marketing so that more people can use this service, and from my experience, I can say it is very secure and a good competitor of Payoneer.

• We can easily create and send order confirmations.
• We respond to the corresponding receiving departments with timely and accurate ASN's.
• Once the order has shipped, customer service utilizes the invoicing function.

• Very fast transfer and very secure as being of PayPal.
• Receiver don't need to download the app or use Xoom.
• It supports bank and debit card to transfer funds and same with the receiver.

• We have quite a few people here who use this portal, and we have it set up to receive an email when an order is available to print. As of now, you can only add a few recipients to receive those emails; it limits you.
• Invoicing is challenging at times as you have to remember to go in and invoice. If you forgot, it is hard to find the order to invoice, as it seems to disappear.
• We still haven't figured out how to have some of the invoicing features auto-populate, so there isn't so much to fill out. I wish some of those features were easier to use, or find if you have them.

• Some destinations take longer to get delivered to.
• Higher amounts of money are harder to transfer.
• High fees when trying to add funds to new card.

If I can drop it, I will this year. We gave it a decent try for over 4 years and it has gotten worse with each added connection.

I don't see any other service that is so versatile and which offers such a breadth of services.

It's one of the most easy to use and intuitive platforms. The app is very powerful as well.

Phone support is generally very good and you can get a person on the phone within a few minutes. Their emailed customer support however is very poor and often goes several days or longer before receiving a response, if ever at all

The implementation was largely successful. Since this was a large shift from normal practices, we faced a few teething problems, but largely I'd say it went well.

In my opinion, SPS Commerce is the bottom out of all three provided here. I think, essentially, if you are looking to be hands off and only oboard on setup and don't plan on growing your business and want to not understand anything about EDI and how it affects your company, SPS Commerce is a fine choice. Just if you want to do anything beyond that, I believe you are going to have the worst time.

We agreed to select Xoom as the main payment method since it had more flexible options. It gives the user a full guarantee of transacting safely and when there is a conflict the customer support team acts quickly. The charges for sending and receiving money are relatively low as compared to other platforms. The mobile application has biometric login features making it difficult for unauthorized users to access confidential information.

• I enrolled in a product I ended up not using because the vendor that required it ended our working relationship and SPS refused to offer a refund. After I canceled it, they continued to charge our account for three more months of service.
• The interface is simple and easy to understand and use, so it saved time when preparing shipments.

• We have had an uptick in payment processing times.
• We receive payments from customers on time with no lag between invoice and payment dates.
• Overall Xoom has literally added to our bottom line by allowing more than a physical check payment option.
