I will say that even though Business Wire is more expensive, they allow you to pick as many industry verticals as you want whereas Newswire only lets you pick one and the cost is somewhere around... … It's difficult to compare apples to apples with these services, but it seems for a couple more hundred dollars, BusinessWire is more worth the spend.

The cheaper options are not quite as intuitive or robust, and the more expensive options do not justify the additional cost. … I am not sure if this is still the case, but I recall that PR Newswire was quite a lot more expensive without justifying the additional spend for our use case.
