What is Dash?

Dash is a digital asset management (DAM) platform built for growing ecommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. It gives marketing, ecommerce and creative teams one central library for product photography, lifestyle imagery, video, audio and brand files. Dash is designed for teams without a dedicated DAM administrator, with AI search, auto-tagging and self-serve sharing that teams can set up and use without specialist training.

Who uses Dash

Dash is typically adopted by two kinds of brands: those that have outgrown general file storage such as Google Drive, Dropbox or SharePoint, where assets end up scattered across nested folders and expiring transfer links, and those moving away from enterprise DAM systems they found too costly or complex to roll out across their team. Customers include Mountain Equipment, Beavertown, BrewDog, Reebok Latin America, Rixo, Riverford, Gozney, Emma Bridgewater, Passenger, COAT Paints, Roka and RevAir.

Key features

Collecting assets: Existing libraries can be imported from Google Drive, Dropbox and SharePoint. Guest upload links let photographers, agencies and content creators submit files directly into Dash, where submissions can be approved, rejected or returned with feedback before they reach the main library.

Search and organisation: AI-powered natural language search lets users find assets by describing what is in them, for example “green jacket on a mountain”. Auto-tagging labels content on upload, and custom fields such as SKU, campaign, season and channel support ecommerce-specific filtering. Folders and collections add further structure.

Sharing: Assets can be shared by link or email. Branded self-serve portals give retail partners, distributors and press access to approved, up-to-date assets without needing to request files from the marketing team.

Using assets: Users can crop, resize and reformat images to preset sizes without design software, trim video, bulk download files and embed assets via CDN. Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, Canva and Hootsuite.

Differentiators

Built around ecommerce workflows: SKU fields, ecommerce platform integrations and partner portals reflect how product-led brands create and distribute content.

Unlimited users on every plan: Pricing is based on storage and downloads rather than seats, so whole teams and external collaborators can be added at no extra cost.

All features on all plans: There are no feature-gated tiers.

Fast setup: Free migration and onboarding support are included with every plan.

Ease of use: Dash is consistently rated highest for ease of use and ease of setup in its category on G2.

Pricing

Dash offers four plans, starting at £79 per month for 10GB storage and 250 downloads, up to £449 per month for 200GB to 50TB storage and unlimited downloads. All plans include unlimited users and every feature, with 10% off for annual billing.
