Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to sign contracts with partners and to send them letters of authorized MuleSoft partners. So managing master partner agreements through DocuSign where I create and we do virtual signatures between the partner and Salesforce.

Pros

  • I can send an agreement to any email address that is, as long as it is a corporate email address, I can send it to multiple email addresses.
  • I get a notification of read and of open when an agreement is received so I can really track the progress of the agreements being sent and received and signed.
  • I can add more than one signature on either party that is signing a contract or honoring agreement. So that makes it easier.

Cons

  • I think they really improved the interface. That was a challenge two years and before that, but that has been resolved. I don't have any issues right now. I think that was the one thing that I could live with some improvement and they have fixed it. I can manage my own connections, contact also. So they resolved a lot of things in the last two years, so I don't have anything negative right now

Likelihood to Recommend

Scenario where it's less with anything that is communication that needs to be traceable. It's an absolute must. It's perfect again to train the whole process, but also it integrates in your CRM. So within the Salesforce instance that I use at work, I can have embedded an API that is by DocuSign, so I can track that same progress, not necessarily inside the DocuSign website, accessing my account, but in my salesforce org where I can see where that stands. So I have it embedded in my account, which makes it very simple and easy and I don't have to open more windows and apps and things like that. So that's fantastic.

I think I have seen the use of this product. I'm with the company from one and a half years, so I have been seeing it since I joined. I think to having a copy of contract signed by both parties and then even for the job offers when we send it to the candidates, get it signed and then have it, so it's fairly easy because it's online and it gives the opportunity for both parties to not meet physically but just still get the contract done.

Pros

  • You don't need to physically go and sign the contract, like on physical paper takes their digital signature and then the both parties can sign on and agree on. So the mutual consent, mutual contract is complete without spending much time of commute and everything. It makes it really fast the process, so it's not dependent to meet physically, it makes it faster.

Cons

  • I don't see any cons because it's serving the purpose, but in future I think what it can include is more security. Because right now if I see if multiple people have access to an email, they kind of have access to the document or it is not supposed to. But in real world sometimes it is like this. Both the spouse will have access to the same email. That way they both have access to the sign it on behalf of each other probably, and the other person won't get to know that.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for making any agreements or contracts. Acceptance of job offers, acceptance like a contract or when we are making with the third party or a customer. I think it's well suited for those scenarios. I think it's not suited for any in the tech development where we do the sign off on the requirements or anything. I don't think we can use it there.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my organization, we use this product to onboard employees and receive signatures for processing human resources and contracts.

Pros

  • This product is particularly good at streamlining the process for onboarding employees.
  • It allows users to have bookmarked locations for signing documents, which proves to be invaluable for time and cost savings.

Cons

  • With DocuSign, I think it's an all around good product. I would say that availability is one of the issues we've had in the past. We've had competitive products that had more available architecture that could be hosted within our own infrastructure. By my own, I mean the company's infrastructure. And I believe that with that improvement, the product would be a lot more well rounded.

Likelihood to Recommend

This product is well suited in the use case that I provided before: when it comes to onboarding employees and providing a clear channel for decision making for human resources, this is an excellent tool to accomplish that. I would say the weak points is when you have back and forth communication with users that it might seem a little redundant to have that back and forth communication in that scenario.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It’s our e-signature platform used to sign our internal operation forms and contracts.

Pros

  • Routing
  • Tracking
  • Notifications

Cons

  • Creation of forms

Likelihood to Recommend

Easy to use and affordable. The routing is simple and enterprise. We use it for contract routing and it’s easy to send out and track to see who has signed. It’s also considered their legal so no need for the old taking the contracts around. We also use the form function so we can download the data easily.

DocuSign makes home building easy

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

DocuSign is used to capture signatures on our very custom and unique home building client contracts. There are many documents that make up a home building contract so DocuSign simplifies this process. It is also used throughout the home building process to capture sign-off on changes (also known as variations) to the building design by the client.

Pros

  • Managing many page documents
  • Capturing client signatures
  • Transaction tracking and alerts

Cons

  • Better auto detect of signature without needing to use Tags.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have tried many different E signing services in the past and Docusign is by far the outright leader. The first reason that comes to mind is speed. The speed of the system is fast especially when moving between screens. It is feature rich and the amount of options when building a document is far better than the competition.

in my opinion, horrible support

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have attempted to cancel my subscription since October, as their upgrades and downgrades of plans seems simple, then you realize you never downgraded or cancelled. In my opinion, getting support worth a crap is impossible. In my experience, they continued to close out tickets on me when they were not complete making me start from the beginning again. My annual plan still renewed even though I did not want it too. Their refund policy states within 30 days of an annual subscription, yet, in my experience, they still refuse to refund or give me anyway of contacting them on the phone. I have had countless support tickets, following instructions and somehow it does no good for me.

Cons

  • in my opinion, horrible support
  • in my experience, miss guiding emails
  • in my experience, phone support is nearly none existent
  • in my experience, will not back refund policy they created

Likelihood to Recommend

In my experience, they will not refund my subscription I have been trying to get rid of for 4 months. They keep closing out my tickets that are not complete. Somehow when I cancelled my subscription it did not save, and after months of not using the product I am charged for another year. In my experience, they refuse to refund even when it meets their refund policy.

Saves time and money!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to sign documents electronically. It helps us to ensure that it is secure, both parties get signed copies once complete and reduces the amount of paper that we need to use. Which in turn reduces our printing costs as well. We found this helped to streamline processes and get work done faster.

Pros

  • Ability to sign documents securely wherever you are.
  • Easily marks where signatures need to be so nothing is missed.
  • Easy for anyone to use.

Cons

  • The cost can be high.
  • Ease of use without needing to have the app downloaded.
  • Easier ways to build packages out or get documents uploaded to DocuSign.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would choose DocuSign over Adobe sign any day or ease of use. However DocuSign is much more expensive than adobe sign. DocuSign is great for one time signatures but is not super friendly for bulk signatures. I like that you can assign it to go to certain people in a certain order.

DocuSign unethical business practices.

Rating: 1 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I was an original user of docusign for my real estate business. I have used the program for years and this year my bill said $120.00 and they charged me over $250 on my credit card. When I call, they say oh no it’s wrong amount and will not credit the difference. I send them a copy of the screen shot showing the billing amount and all I get is the same answer. Oh no that’s wrong. Company has turned highly unethical in their business practices and would worry about my privacy of material. I am in real estate and now will need to download all files in order to cancel and doubtful I will be refunded any money. I have reported to the better business bureau and plan to post every site I can to warn other consumers. No one should use this app as it is untrustworthy and use the fact they have your data to hold over you. Highly unethical company.

Pros

  • Not return consumer calls
  • Charge you more than your bill
  • Have a supervisor call and leave messages in middle of the night.
  • Overcharging you

Cons

  • Charge consumer same amount as bill
  • Return customer calls
  • Stop giving consumer run around

Likelihood to Recommend

Charging on credit card more than billed amount. Not returning calls. After a month someone leaves a message in the middle of the night (3 am) saying they were trying to call me. Unethical business practices. No one cares to try and resolve issue. You show them screen shot of billing amount and all they do is make excuses and say they have new rates. Why did they bill me one thing and then charge my card more. I would give less than 1 rating if possible.

Unfortunatelly not happy with DocuSign as they, in my opinion, breached the privacy of my clients, they got the documents signed

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using DocuSign extensively for the last 5 years. I had my personal account with them and decided to transfer it to my office corporate at which point DocuSign and my brokerage did not exprain that they will own the account and will have the right to cancel it at their liking. DocuSign unfortunatelly did not disclose that upon the transfwr of the account, the information will be passed to the broker owner without my knowledge. In my experience, so many breaches without disclosure

Pros

  • saves information

Cons

  • privacy and disclosures

Likelihood to Recommend

DocuSign lost me as a client because, in my opinion, it has poor customer service. In my experience, it did not handle the issues at all and the representative kept repeating the same script. Most importantly, in my experience, DocuSign breached the privacy of my clients and disclosed it to my brokerage without my knowledge, unfortunatelly my clients are not pleased.
