A solution was required to back up both physical and virtual systems all from one product. Due to bandwidth issues seeding and incremental were needed. Cloud failover was required in case of a total loss to the on-premise hardware. The ability to perform a bare metal restore was a requirement.

Allows us to have one product that backs up both virtual and physical, rather than having to support and maintain multiple products. Suited to environments that have no physical failover, you can fail into cloud services to maintain uptime. Large support of systems supported, such as Solaris and AIX.

Iron Mountain solved our issues with an easy-to-use solution. It met our needs and the regulatory requirements. The solution is simple to implement and would seem to be quite secure.

We have not used any other solutions. We have been happy with Iron Cloud Data Protection. We have not had the need to evaluate other solutions. Data protection is important, but it is not a priority for us. As a result, we are not evaluating other data protection services or solutions.
