Salesforce Marketing Cloud improved our campaign quality and performance.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is solving our problem of managing campaigns separately in spreadsheets and enabling us to reduce complexity in our social media marketing campaign management. It reduces our overall effort in checking analytics separately, but posts can be tracked and compared simultaneously.

Pros

  • Manage social media campaigns together.
  • Analytics of Social Media Campaigns regularly.
  • Design customer journey.

Cons

  • Can reduce the tool complexity.
  • Improve the customer journey tracking and management.
  • Pricing is high.

Likelihood to Recommend

It seamlessly integrates with other solutions, such as Salesforce CRM.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Marketing Cloud for our own customers, where we run campaigns through it. SFMC is our tool of choice for managing pharma campaigns for our licensed customers. We work with around 20 top pharma companies where we run the product — we own the Salesforce licenses, operate the product, and manage the platform ourselves.

Pros

  • When you’re running campaigns, you need to know your segments and do proper targeting — especially in pharma, which is highly regulated and very specific when you’re communicating with HCPs or KOLs. SFMC helps with that by allowing you to segment, target, and deliver the right messaging to these customers or platform users. That’s what it really helps us do.

Cons

  • I think the improvements will come with Agentforce, which is coming in. I haven’t seen too many use cases for AI integration in Marketing Cloud yet, but I’m assuming that’s where Salesforce is heading. Bringing those capabilities into the process flow and market segmentation, I think, would really help.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think the product, by definition, is meant for marketing — and we use it exactly for that, for running campaigns. That’s the best-suited use case for the product. I don’t think it’s really meant to be used for anything else — that’s just not how it’s designed.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Any email outreach that we have to do to the customers, that is through Marketing Cloud. So let's say if a customer is making a purchase of the tire, so we are S and let's say if they're making an appointment to make a tire consultation or the stores and taking a tire, right? So appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, finals, and then any reach to the outreach to the customers. In terms of the marketing emails or all those, everything is being directed to Marketing Cloud.

Pros

  • The seamless integration that we have and since we are already on Salesforce so it's a seamless integration that we can do and I mean easy to manage as well. So we have got access for the professional services and they really helped us integrate the marketing cloud infrastructure and we had some challenges in the past with other vendors that were other product that we were working with and after we have one model marketing or it has been very seamless experience, so yeah, it's a good thing to us.

Cons

  • The only area that I could think of, probably a better admin management stuff is the one that I, because there is not a lot open on the platform that probably you can use and you probably can get help of until, unless you are very well versed with the product, probably you're not willing to use it the way you can think of other Salesforce offering like the Salesforce sales cloud. It's easy to use, you can just navigate and you can do all this. The Marketing Cloud itself is a complex product. There are reasons why it is like that, but yeah, maybe if we can do something around that.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited is all email interaction, email outreach that we are doing to the customers so it's best product. So far we have been using.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is used within my global organisation by some teams. The product addresses a number of business problems particularly around email marketing, customer journey management, segmenting of audiences, etc. It allows us to build automated campaigns to our contacts within salesforce which is good as it is connected then to wider CRM reporting and sales data.

Pros

  • Email templates
  • A/B testing
  • Email performance analysis

Cons

  • Requires training to upskill
  • A bit technical to personalise / integrate your own data sources
  • Limited integrations

Likelihood to Recommend

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is particularly not suited for when you want to make really rapid changes and personalisation to things, but it is well suited to tying your email marketing efforts specifically connecting them to salesforce sales cloud crm. It has some limitations with other integrations but is overall good for building automated campaigns if you put the time in to learn
