SAP Concur is a Time Saver
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I am an Executive assistant and use SAP Concur for expense reports and for booking travel. At my last job our expense reporting process was antiquated. using SAP Concur makes the process much easier. especially having the app on my phone. Snapping a quick picture of a receipt is much quicker and less painful than taping a receipt to a piece of paper and scanning 30-40 pages every month!
Pros
- The ease of also having the mobile app so that you can upload receipts fast and view expenses on the go.
- SAP Concur is smart so it identifies what a charge might be based on previous charges. Not always correct but it tries to think for us to make our lives easier.
- Travel Booking + Expense Reporting go hand in and hand seeing all of this in one place is convenient.
Cons
- The smart features don't always work. SAP Concur will usually guess and fill in the blanks for what a charge is. but sometimes the guess is wrong.
- I support various busy execs and sometimes they don't have time to go in and submit a missing receipt declaration. It would be good if I could submit more on their behalf.
- Sometimes it gets difficult with multiple people having access to an executive's SAP Concur expenses and we often have duplicates. which is often confusing. This may not be something you can fix.
