Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use TrustRadius to do an initial review of available options in the market when our organization is looking at replacing or implementing a new solution. It provides a list of solutions in the industry and reviews from users that actually use the product/company. It helps narrow our focus on solutions that will best fit our needs and not waste time evaluating products that would never work for our environment or business. It also reduces cold calling and wasted time with product demo's that are not from best in class providers.

It is great when looking at software features and analysis but it is a little lacking on MSP design which organizations are moving to because they do not have the internal personnel to self manage. It would be great if they also offered reviews of MSP providers to implement and support the different software offerings that are reviewed on the site

We use TrustRadius to decide and get information of the software we will be using in the future and the one we need to purchase. TrustRadius helps in finding the right product according to our needs. For example we wanted the product needed to deploy our website. TrustRadius helped us by giving information and various reviews to make the decision easy. In my case, the scope of TrustRadius has importance including business decision and discussions.

I've used TrustRadius for Buyers to look up not just reviews of particular software but also for alternatives to software. They encourage in depth reviews which means that I will get to hear some of the nuances or many times, the edge cases that a particular product may or may not perform well in. Sometimes that helps with the buying decision, but often times it has helped me during implementation to know what to expect.

I've come to like TrustRadius for Buyers for looking up a new product and deciding if I should look into it more. I've appreciate the additional information about struggles that might come with certain platforms or software. The only issue is that on some lesser known software, sometimes their simply aren't enough reviews.

There is a lot of competition in the review space
Not everyone giving a review has the same needs as we do.
TrustRadius for Buyers is excellent, but sometimes I don't have time to engage with it as deeply as I would like

We are a small business that is growing very fast, that creates the need to implement fast changes that allow us to grow more efficiently and consistently always caring for the quality of our services, in that matter, investing in software is always more than just a purchase, it includes comparing, evaluating and projecting our results. Using TrustRadius for Buyers we are able to make time-saving and informative decisions providing us with the data needed to go along our business strategy.

Pros

Reading other customer's reviews provide us with robust insights.
Research boards make the search for solutions easier than just looking at plain categories.
Advanced search allow us easy to find solutions and similar tools to compare.

Cons

Sometimes the length of the surveys can be too long
User reviews and opinion can be biased or not true
Maybe we could easily find the less positive comments to create a worst case scenario

We were in need to renew or change our antivirus provider and even though the different providers presented their cases nicely we did still have doubts beyond the cost-benefit issue. We used TrustRadius for Buyers and it provided us with important key information regarding the best solution, it even gave us data beyond the Gartner chart. We changed the provider to Kaspersky and found out it was a great decision.

I find that for many software applications, TrustRadius for Buyers is suitable for preliminary research on both the product as well as the functions. TrustRadius for Buyers also provides comparable software that I can seeand research. TrustRadius for Buyers can be used as a starting point to collect data on various products that have the same purpose as opposed to individually searching one by one.

Because there are many security and privacy restrictions in the healthcare/medical space, and by using TrustRadius for Buyers, we can prune our selection by identifying potential fits or misalignments.

Whenever I am looking for reviews and recommendations on software for our company, I always make check TrustRadius. I also source out our software options using the different software categories on the TrustRadius website. This is to make sure we have an informed decision on all of our current software options before proceeding to the selection of the vendors shortlist for our procurement to process.This is an important step of our planning stage in our company's digital transformation roadmap.
