Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a recruiter at Pinnacle and using Vonage Business Communications to communicate candidates in United States. It is helping me to connect with international candidates easily via voice and texting and achieve my recruitment activity goals.

Pros

No doubt to say that Vonage is an awesome platform. I recently started using the Vonage Mobile app and believe me its is very helpful to connect with my all candidates as well as internal team members quickly & easily as I was working remotely as sometimes was on leave and not have access to my laptop.

I was working remotely and was on leave couple of days. I had a couple of candidates were in onboarding status where I need communicate with them every single day. My IT team suggested me to get the Vonage app and trust me without having laptop on that time, I was taking care of work using Vonage Business Communications app in my phone in terms communicating with team and US candidates.

I have been using Vonage Business Communications since decade and found very easy to use specially for calls & texts to USA candidates. I have installed app in my cell phone which is very very easy and you can use anywhere.

Cons

Sometime, we faced texting issue especially while sending to US candidates.

You must exit the app and reconnect because it does not recognize headphones automatically after you reconnect.

I used Vonage Business Communications for over 5 years as a solution to replacing an aged PBX system. It turned out to be a great solution for us, bringing the church into the 21st century with a high tech solution using existing architecture, easy expandability, advanced tools like auditing and visual voicemail, and a lot more.

Replacing old systems is a great use for Vonage Business Communications. It is lower cost than repairing old PBX, has great features and extensibility when you first set it up. Contracts can be a bit of a pain but not an awful thing. Overall it is a really good product that compared to other similar companies I can’t complain.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Vonage to communicate with my customers via text or phone. I like it because the app is on my computer and doesn't require me to have an actual phone. This allows me to use a company phone line that can be recorded for future reference or recall. We have had to use it many time before to prove a conversation.

Like I said, it works well for sending and receiving text messages, but it would be nice to be able to get photos sent or received. It would also be nice to allow video calling. It's also nice that phone calls are recorded for future reference. It can all be used on the computer or on a person phone with an app.

In our organisation, It is our primary source of communication. We use it for making calls and for sending texting messages mostly. It is not limited to it only, but also helps us to communicate with other team members on a real time basis. It has features like call forwarding and voicemail which helps a lot. It provide us a seamless and integrated communication experience across various channels, including voice calls, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.

There are several scenarios based on my experience I think it is well suited, situations like as most of the organisations are working from home after the pandemic, it allows us to forward the calls to other Team members either using cold transfer or warm transfer. Also it allow us to merge the calls as well. It has a lot of other features which is making it well suited for us. For me less appropriate scenarios are very less, situations like if internet connectivity is low it takes forever to load the application.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been with Vonage Business Communications for a number of years, but are now considering going elsewhere for our VOIP system. We have had problems with our incoming calls having a hum and severe echo, and Vonage has done nothing to resolve it if you can even get hold of a person to talk to and even more, provide technical support. We have tried changing settings in our system and Modem/Router with no results. So, it seems it has run its course.

If they could just get more people with knowledge to provide technical support, and fewer people reading out of a book. And having multiple levels of technical support. Allowing customers to talk to people, instead of an answering system. Getting in touch with customers with problems, when the customer pays an amount for their system AND technical support.

Vonage Business Phone Service - Bad for Small Business - No Customer Service

We use Vonage for our phone, text, and faxing service. We use Vonage with the hope of receiving and placing phone calls. However, our lines are down more than 50% of the time. [I believe] This is a terrible product with no easy way to reach customer service. They do not take phone calls, the only communication is through chat. It takes 60 minutes to reach someone and they usually close the chat without a resolution.

The phone app is pretty good.

Cons

The phone lines are down 50% of the time.
I cannot receive calls.
I cannot place calls
The customer service is terrible, no phone line to call.
The online chat support is terrible, they close chats without resolutions.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you plan on using Vonage to place or receive phone calls, it is a very poor option [in my opinion]. The texting and fax feature seems to work pretty well though.

One of the best communication software I am using. Vonage [Business Communications] we are using to dial our B2B clientele. We are the manufacturer of Vape E-juice and disposable our brand call IVG E-Liquids. It is being used in our sales department to dial vape distributors and wholesalers. I found [high] voice quality and amazing features such as call recording, voice mail, text message, [and] conference call.

One of the best dialing software with very good voice quality
Amazing features like call recording, texting, voice mail, and divert call
Network and connection [very] efficient

Cons

I believe [they] need to work on history settings, sometime won't show the call history
[Doesn't] even show the call recording history
Overall experience is very good

Likelihood to Recommend

Vonage [Business Communications] is very helpful and [user] friendly. If [you're] dialing B2B it works amazingly. I personally preferred every IT firm to use this software for their B2B campaign, fully worth it. Functions [are] very easy to understand, very friendly with the user. The feature of Caller Id [I] much appreciate. I love it and recommend every IT industry to use it.
