Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We use 8x8 as our contact center provider. We have added the 8x8 app to our Zendesk omnichannel platform for operational ease. We rarely have outages or failures with 8x8 or the interface we use. The app was very easy to set up and the 8x8 onboarding team was incredibly helpful. Combining these products streamlined our daily operations immensely.

Pros

Cons

  • From an admin perspective, 8x8 is relatively easy to use, once you know where to find everything. In my honest opinion, they could simplify many of the admin processes or at least make them easier to locate.
  • Creating recordings for your contact center always takes multiple attempts
  • Support is outsourced and never quick or easy.
  • Finding recorded calls. The searches don't always work well
  • When our business needs and structure changed due to covid, 8x8 was a perfect fit.
  • Ease of incorporation into our omnichannel platform.
  • Huge savings compared to previous provider.
It was painless to install, configure, and use. We had guidance throughout the process and the training for both users and admins was easy to follow and thorough. I feel that the 8x8 team had our backs and maintained strong presence throughout the onboarding process. Because of this, our employees had ease in the adoption of the new technology.

The value and reliability for the price are outstanding. We use 8x8 internally as well as the contact center for certain teams. 8x8 integrates well with Teams and many other apps. For the contact center, we do not use any sales campaign features, but do have high volume inbound traffic for our support team. 8x8 rarely has outages, so the reliability is there. Knowing that our customers can always reach us is something that really matters.
