Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

The Center for Family Services of PBC was relying on a outdated POTS-based PBX and phones. The system was old enough that parts could only be obtained by cannibalizing another unit. We needed modern VoIP solution, and as a nonprofit, one with a low up-front cost for the upgrade.

Pros

  • Voice quality is high
  • Easy transition
  • Exceptionally low down-time
  • Easy for employees to make the switch

Cons

  • Additional configuration options on call groups
  • For the same cost of our POTS service, we are able to have the stability and features of a cloud PBX and VoIP service.
Easy to use for most users, and fairly easy to configure admin side with little prior knowledge of the 8x8 system.
